I think our performers have been awful. We haven’t looked like winning any of the last 11. It’s not like we conceded last minute goals or lost a 4-3 thriller.

In the last 11 we’ve conceded 21 goals and scored 8. We haven’t scored more than a single goal in a game since KuPS. That’s dreadful form and performances for me but I respect your opinion

I think parts of performances have been awful.

In most games we've been pretty good for decent periods of time. Clearly we are not 100%, but we're not a million miles off.

Even on Sunday, if JP had scored that early chance it might have been a different game

I hear you but being competitive for 35 mins just doesn’t cut it for me. I think the minimum we should expect is to be competitive against most teams. We aren’t at the moment for most of the time in games. As I say we haven’t looked close to winning any game recently

If you were a potential candidate for the next manager, wouldn`t you be keeping track of Glasner`s comments and the clubs response? Choosing to do nothing is likely to cause more problems in the long run.
Coppell was a brilliant manager for us but third was achieved when the playing field was far more even. As such I did not believe anyone would come close but Glasner has surpassed Coppell.
Prize money for the conference league is dependent on several things, so far the money for 10 points in the league stage is equivalent to finishing a place higher in the premier league. Getting to the quarter finals another place and so on.

I feel our best option at this point in time is Mr Motivated himself Fiery Paddy

I think motivation is really need right now & Coach who wants away, said he does not care, calls the bench “kids” - Well he’s really doing well winning them over hey.

OG seems too stubborn to get us out of this mire. Two next games (Forest and Brighton) I can see only us well beaten. Then okves and Burnley - less than 4 p here and we are really among the relegation favorites. Right now we are the worst team in PL by a country mile, even Wolves has improved in the last couple of games. So, if we play the same system with the same players in those games, Glasner should be sent packing, Pads take over and not be afraid to use some of our younger players.

Ah of course, a logic that suggests managers are basically irrelevant. Makes you wonder why every club in the world puts so much focus on it.

It's also an amazing coincidence that Glasner has been so lucky in all three of those jobs as to inherit squads so good that success was inevitable.

Ungrateful, entitled arrogance as if you are a Madrid or Arsenal fan.

You would not have the gall to say it to his face.

It was having an excellent, winning coach with some good players. He got the job done for us in two finals.

Palace without Glasner = 118 years and 0 trophies (Data Systems Cup aside).

Palace with Glasner = 18 months and 2 trophies, and our first ever European campaign.

He will be forever a legend, despite a difficult period now losing key people.

This is a challenging period, but we need to focus on building, getting the main stand refurb going, improving revenues, and being canny in the transfer market.

Selling MG was the right move under the circumstances. Selling JPM may also be a canny sale, if we can reinvest that money wisely.

In Parish I trust. I hope he is ignoring the noise and working calmly in the background on the bigger picture.

Disgraceful take. Glasner has certainly been annoying how he has been selfish over the MG situation, not considering the club's position, and I question whether it will help him in the long run, but he is still our legendary cup winning manager.

That was his final season at Wolfsburg finishing 4th.

His final season with Frankfurt they finished 7th and reached the German cup final.

For clubs at our level, both financially and in the grand scheme, achieving any success is a mysterious combination of tactics, coaching, man management, bringing in players who compliment each other and are committed to common aims - with so many variables it can fall apart quite easily. Some managers can bring these things together, Brian Clough for instance, although not all the time, and fair play to Glasner - he did it successfully for a while. But, like Clough, it seems his ego has got in the way.
He might be a one trick pony but I'd take that over one who's just pony.
