But we do/did have a contingency plan.. We had Riad, and we bought in Canvot both of who are young deputies who we'd hoped would be ready by the time Guehi left - he's made no secret that was his intention.already, i am feeling the problem is not Glasner. Our behaviours in the transfer market are not good. Selling the best players and not really having a good contingency plan.
Certainly we are a selling club. Therefore it should be ok to sell a World Class player and replace with a fella who is, say 75% as talented. But we are not doing that.
Also our injury crisis is no surprise when you are playing in 4 competitions.
The Boardroom is the problem, not Glasner. Losing Guehi without any proper replacement.
Riad has been 'unlucky' with Injuries, and Canvot looks promising, but hasn't played all that much in Guehi's position yet, with Glasner seemingly perfering Lerma in that role.
for Eze, we bought Esse, then Pino, and now Johnson...
Not sure what else was expected of the Board. We're not buying like for like, we buy potential. It's for the Manager and his team to get them up to speed and integrate them correctly.
