You do seem to appropriate all blame for anything bad to Glasner and anything good to the players. You are also appropriating all blame for poor signings to Glasner, but ignore signings like Lacroix and Sarr. The only two players who cost us a significant sum and who have struggled since OG arrived have been Nketiah and Esse. Pino has been ok, but is clearly still adjusting to the PL. Canvot is one for the future. The fact we lost Eze and didn't replace him properly should tell you how good a job Glasner has done not just to compete but to give us our second-highest points total for this stage of the season.I am saying that the team before Eze left was the best team we have ever had, and 12th was a poor result for the Quality of player we had, the last signings were supposed to be good players to come in and rest the first 11, but all have been poor, and all approved by Glasner, we did win the FA cup, but I also put that down to the players, Pardew finished 10th and was 12 mins from winning the FA cup, does that make him poorer than Glasner, the buys last summer were poor, Freedman left in March, Glasner will never manage a top club for more than 6 months, IMO he has a lot of negatives about him, but time will tell, like I have said many times, for me, he is the Emperors new clothes.
We were in the top six for accrued points for 2025 (calendar year), alongside winning the FA Cup and the Community Shield. I ask again, what more were you expecting? I liked Pardew and he provided us with some of the most exciting (albeit often terrifying) football in our modern history, but he ran out of ideas and his time came to go. His limitations have shown in his career since leaving. Glasner has been with us for two years. He is not new.
