Doesn't feel like they are in Hamburg I'd have to say. One near me in Stadpark has grown in size over the last few years. They've added an extra strip to the main one at the Rathaus which runs along Jungferstieg. There's also small ones in nearly every neighborhood. At the big ones the noticeable difference is the sensible addition of vehicle blocks huge cement blocks/water containers etc.

It's a great feel in the city just don't overdo the Glühwein!

Correct, it's not tit for tat, however. There's no need for people to drive over their local Muslims. Yet, conversely why should we change our entire society for these clear misfits?
