German Christmas market

How come, if you don’t mind me asking? Converting to Islam? Seriously, I’m curious. I’ve done a while recently and it’s bl00dy boring every weekend not drinking anything.
I can't function properly if I drink. It's hard enough sober when you are getting on a bit.
If I ever have a beer or two, I usually regret it the next day. I avoid it except for very rare occasions.

Good boxed red wine (yes there are a few decent ones) became an energy sapper. Like fruit juice on tap, plus no idea how much was going down.

Oh yeah, those were the days.

Maybe I should do a cheese one in the new year.

All those fancy posh cheeses....bit of a lark for a neanderthal like moi.
This is my favourite cheese. A couple of notches up from Camembert. Only available from posh Waitrose, Ocado and Sainsbury’s I think and you have to eat it within 2 days max after opening before it goes off but it’s great…

I don't like wine or spirits. In my younger days I drank vodka or beer at the pub, but I've never really been a home drinker.

I love beer (vodka, wine, cocktails etc) & it loves me.

big problem really ,somedays... other days its great.
still have some great nights on it, but a few tough days (no joke hanging wallpaper or sitting on a roof when youre still spangled from last night)

Taqiyya
This is a principle that allows or requires deception in certain situations. It is based on Quranic terminology and is accepted in both Shi'i and Sunni Islam. Scholars generally agree that taqiyya is acceptable when dealing with non-Muslims or when under compulsion. Shia jurists may also allow taqiyya in interactions with Muslims...

One of the MANY reasons why Islam is not compatible with the West in anyway/shape or form. The religion tells them they can lie to non-believers.

Or, you could provide a citation for where you get your definitions so people can read the context which you conspicuously omit...

"Generally, taqiyya is regarded as the action of maintaining secrecy or mystifying one's beliefs. Hiding one's beliefs in non-Muslim nations has been practiced since the early days of Islam and early Muslims used it to avoid torture or getting killed by non-Muslims and tyrants with authority, it used to be acknowledged by Muslims of virtually all persuasions." ... anyone else seeing a trend of which group keeps throwing lazy propaganda?

... another example is the 'Allahu Ahkba' claims...

There is a video of him shouting it while being arrested. I'm sure you can find it on X.

"Alles klar" ("understood") is what he is reported as saying in response to being told not to move by the armed policeman.

I've come across cases where far-left extremists masquerade as one party conservatives.

which countries have the greatest track record for Torture ?

was the driver at the Christmas Market a perpetrator or a victim ? so many victims everywhere then ? You do know that very many violent people like to perceive themselves as victims ? It is the Gateway emotion to horrific acts of violence.

You are an apologist for murderers, plain and simple.

Why don't you just say what you really think instead of hiding behind all the spin?

I know only a little about modern day torture, its foundations in the work by Donald Ewen Cameron and subsequent doctrines implemented by the CIA and exported and practiced around the world. For example, from your first reference where it says of Iraq that "The use of torture has been extensive since the US invasion and subsequent occupation in 2003", the Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein cites the torture of many Iraqis using the techniques detailed by the CIA:

I don't know what your point is regarding the driver? Are you trying to assert that the driver was practising taqiyya, and so his documented 18 year project of anti-Islam behaviour was all a ruse, culminating in this attack? This was the big brain plan all along? All the support for the neo-Nazi AfD organisation, the work to get people out of Saudi etc, just a foil?

You've presented no direct evidence to support that position in the case of the driver. It's all innuendo and speculation so far.
