Fulham vs. Crystal Palace match thread

I was full of pessimism for this season but somewhat accepting of it.

This feels enormous, and the season start for me.

So pleased for Tyrick. I’ve enormous respect and gratitude for him, one of my all time faves but never really in the headlines.

When haven't we had striker problems?
 
Great much needed win. Very poor performance from Wharton who doesn’t look fit. JSL carries zero goal threat and Pino shows glimpses but very inconsistent. Besides all this we still stayed and battled and got our rewards. A lot to fix but delighted with the result

Agree. Wharton was unusually poor today.

Chilwell may well prove to be a very shrewd signing. Mitchell is a favourite and finally has the necessary back-up. A pity the strikers aren't so readily interchangeable, but that is a problem Sage will have to solve.
 
Firstly as a fan. COYP ❤️💙 GET INNN.

Secondly, defensively so fragile and playing like that and we will unfortunately/deservedly be on the end of a few hidings. Hopefully Sage recognizes this and work is done there.
But we go game by game and tonight we celebrate 🥂

To be fair the strikers are interchangeable. Interchangeable with a wardrobe maybe but still interchangeable
 
Love reading back the comments as we go through the emotions. Football is such a great game especially when it goes your way. Need to work on our defending but great to get 3 points and season up and running
