Some positives to come out of the game Khalaili played well again, Disasi and Timber showed some flashes of good play, Pino and Kamada lovely and we knocked it about well at times. Mitchell is a Palace legend!

The defence looked a shambles at times, but on the plus side the team carried on and improved in the second half to the extent that the 3 points are in the bag!
Work to do, but a most welcome victory!

Chilwell is a cool experienced head and did well when he came on. He will be important to Sage in managing Mitchell’s minutes.

I think we have the players to be OK, but we now need to get the team balance right.

Mitchell MOTM, of course, but it was one of Kamada's best matches. And Pino looked fitter and more industrious than I've seen him. The back line need to gel quickly, however. They played as three not-very-skilled individuals rather than as a good-to-excellent unit, which we've been blessed with for several seasons.

Think it evened out. Our second was an outrageous fluke but the way VAR binned Kamada's goal for a millimetre offside was robbery. We are nowhere near the unit we were under Glasner but the football is already way slicker. Bit more cohesion and cutting edge and we'll be more than fine.
