Fulham vs. Crystal Palace match thread

Timber looked fabulous. The winger kid wasn’t on long enough to make any judgment. The new right back looks shaky in defence. Better in attack. We are in a massive state of transition. The defence looks like we can ship goals all the time. That’s 8 in 3 games.

Nice to get some points but if we're struggling against Fulham it's going to be a rocky road. Let's hope the team keep improving and gelling.
Importantly there are signs of it all coming together. Certainly the spirit is good and the newcomers are straight in. Forward line needs a good kick up the arse and the defence needs to become tighter but I have faith in Sage.

We are staring to see Sage’s way of playing. Mobility. High energy and attempt to press high. He clearly wants a mobile front three and midfield. Where that leaves some of our players is interesting as shown by Guessand and McNeil being left out. The good version of JPM and Sarr would make a huge difference to the team. Mobility but much more physical presence.

At the back though we are a shambles. I am really not sure Canvot should be starting. He has so much potential but makes at least one serious error every game and positionally is naive. Not really a surprise for a young player but I’d feel better with Tomiyasu starting. The new signing at RWB was very shaky but very early days for him. I hope we don’t regret letting Munoz go.

Chilwell already looks an astute signing. He and Mitchell show what a proper professional should look like in terms of attitude and commitment
