When Wirtz scored a clearly offside goal last year there was a lot of talk about the 5 cm tolerance the PL grant which hasn't been mentioned much since. Maybe it's a Liverpool amendment.

And then someone asks "but he was only 2cm over the 5cm tolerance".

There's an easy solution. Let the linesman flag for offside and sometimes they'll be wrong. It was that was for a very long time and nothing modern has particularly improved it.

Yes, that's true but I don't remember the 5cm thing being mentioned much before or since.

However Glasner correct on the disallowed goal imo.

VAR appeared to have guessed as photos dio not show contact with the hand, but movement of the shirt what does that mean.
