Flags.........& Politics.

No they didn’t.

That was to reclaim the flag for all and demonstrate that it doesn’t belong to any one group.
That lot haven’t got a loyal and patriotic bone in their bodies, just like you. Another reason why their popularity has gone through the floor and through the cellar. Nobody likes, trusts or believes them, apart from useful idiots now.

Why would he restrict your brilliant idea to the Cornish? Not enough votes for him here to do that. No one on the Council, not even the 3 Mebyon Kernow councillors, are seriously campaigning for independence. Just more autonomy. The Cornish flag is a symbol of pride in culture and togetherness. A symbol of Celtic history, together with Cornish tartan.

Ha ha ha. It's a Christian cross in different colours. Devon has one as does Gloucestershire

When considering the magic beans idea your reaction seems to be slightly dismissive.
Curious that the Cornish flag is a symbol of togetherness regardless of who chooses to fly it.

I will ignore the personal insult, which is far from true.

You cannot possibly know everyone who supports Labour but just because their loyalty and patriotism embraces more than the narrowness of yours doesn’t mean it’s not genuine.

I am not slightly dismissive! I am totally dismissive.

The Cornish flag does symbolise togetherness, one of the most endearing characteristics of the people here, who have made me, and everyone who choose to call this home, very welcome. For “one and all” is a lived experience.

Good. Now you know how Londoners feel about your pronouncements on life there which are equally as daft.
Does this mean that those seeking independence don't fly the Cornish flag?

It belongs to every citizen of our United Kingdom, wherever they live, however they have acquired it or for long they have held it.

We should be striving to build pride in it.

Not seeking to divide people by it.
Many Muslims have no intention of assimilating into our way of life. You either know that or you’re so far removed from reality you shouldn’t be giving an opinion. The old commonwealth immigrants were different than this mass migration thank you.

well kinda. The diversity of England, Scotland and Ireland. Which is ironic cos a) it ignores Wales and b) half of Ireland has left the Plantation.
Yeah but that’s not what Keir is a w@nker is trying to claim

Quite funny the 1 minute I saw of England the other night was a close up of several middle aged blokes singing ‘’Starmer is a w@nker’’ before the camera changed lol.

Diversity.....kinda maybe but it's put on quite a bit.

More like whites pretending to be different from each other while doing 97 percent of all the same behaviours.

Ireland is a little different as it's an isle, but a good amount of Irish and a good amount of English/Scots/Welsh are interbred so the differences are still a bit put on.

I have genes from everywhere on these isles except Wales.....that I know of.

England, scotland, ireland, wales.....

dont mention the French. At least we all don't install special plumbing for washing our hole.

anyhoo.........Flags.

Maybe the French should put a Bidet onto their Flag. They would probably be the only nation on Earth.

did my DNA. I got irish, welsh, scottish, Norwegian.......but no Sassanach. Which i am delighted about.

Will i be claiming compensation for Viking rape gangs & the slave Trade ? Or maybe she was an Ingrid ?

Nice slender and friendly Ingrid.

Or maybe I'm remembering a film I watched last night.

Herdie gerdie.

How you reach that conclusion beats me, but as your reasoning is often opaque it’s not so unusual. I have no idea how Londoners feel about my “pronouncements” as I doubt more than a tiny handful have ever read one. I have read some opinions from some in the little echo chamber here but they can be dismissed as completely unrepresentative.

As I don’t know anyone at all who is seeking Cornish independence I have no answer to your question. I know a few who want more autonomy and for more decisions to be taken locally. Some even wanting Cornwall to enjoy the same status as Wales or Scotland but independence, no.
