Farage says he's 'never directly racially abused anybody' after school racism claims

So who better to know where the bodies are buried? Disgruntled why?

Reform have a lot of 'disgruntled councillors and members'

They have an unfortunate combination of very strict party rules (to defend against the inevitable witch-hunts from those suffering FDS), combined with a base that is inherently outspoken and challenging of authority and established mainstream norms.
It was always going to be a difficult combination to manage.

From the complainer

"Mr Everett - whose role included the monitoring of election expenses and escorting Mr Farage around during the campaign following his defection from the Conservatives - reportedly said he believes Reform exceeded the spending limit by about £9,000, but he added that Mr Farage was 'blissfully unaware' of the omissions."

Weren't Labour already discovered to have falsified expenses by 100s of thousands? The news on it was so brief and there was some kind of pithy 'accounting period' story that we were supposed to accept. Oh yes, they blamed that on an agent/ accountant. It wasn't nine grand though. More like a million or two.

Oh well. Only a few hundred grand.

So cringe.

Way to prove it's not a witch-hunt.
The thread was about alleged teenage racism 50 years ago. When that didn't really stick, you move the goalposts and it's suddenly about 2025 election expenses.
You're proving everyone else's point for them. It is a witch-hunt.
Cringe no, moronic, stupid, risible and time wasting, yes

When he seems “blissfully unaware” of things like how his failure to distance his current attitude with his teenage one impact how people perceive him you have to question whether he is aware of any reality.

Lacking establishment backing means little. He has backing or he would be gone long ago. People will not accept a Tory and Labour coalition or even anything more than a gentleman's agreement in opposition. Labour are going the way of the Tories. It's not a hard call with this lot. This is the worst Labour party I've ever seen. Perhaps the worst political party the UK has ever seen. They seem unable to understand basic politics and public opinion. If they weren't so righteous and vindictive, it would be humourous. As it is it's a sad satire on the whole country.
When Reeves bites after Christmas and into New Year, I'm not sure they can ride the storm. They're going to have to find something to sidetrack everyone. Which is worrying. War or going back into Europe: something like that.
What a strong statement to make.

I don't think they are great and their communications have been poor, but the predominantly right wing media just jump on everything and over blow things - look at the Raynor stamp duty issue v Farage's similar avoidance, as an example.

However, the country is not in recession, the stock market is doing very well, there have been investments in public services and they are trying to get kids out of poverty (breakfast clubs etc).

The 'massive' tax rises in the last budget were actually very minor as a %, and i suspect unless you have a £2m house you will barely notice any differences.

I strongly deny that Nigel is a witch. Probably a warlock.

That is suspicious that isn't that well known prankster Kenny is it?

So when it’s a disgruntled BBC employee, it’s just tittle tattle from someone with an agenda. When it’s a disgruntled ex Reform Councillor who probably has an agenda against Farage, it must be correct. Sums it up really

Thrown out of the party. No axe to grind at all, perhaps a file though!
The comings and goings in the Reform party are like a very bad soap opera, typical of niggling Nigel and his attitude that rubs everyone (with white van drivers as the exception) up the wrong way, he is a proven racist by the testimony of his former class pupils ( you cannot call them mates as he didn't have any). I am looking forward to the next general election, perhaps he will move to Europe to be with his wife (Germany) or girlfriend (France).

All English family/relationships = Bigot!
Foreign family/relationships = Hypocrite!

Appeals to white van drivers = Scum!
Appeals to the wealthy = Elitist!

Panto season has arrived earlier than usual this year, it seems.

How long have Labour been in? A couple of easy ones: how many have they already ousted? How many have been threatened with suspension? How many have left?
Another easy one: who has not been pissed off by Labour policy?
I spoke about it before: the left are not happy with Labour: too Tory Lite, complaining about immigration, cutting some benefits. The centre are not happy with Labour: higher council taxes, women's pensions, no discernable improvement in services or crime, failure to deal with immigration, the right are not happy with Labour: work shy get copper fastened benefits, higher taxation, less spending money, economy not improving despite false figures, failure to deal with immigration.
Only the donors are happy with Starmer's client regime. Nobody else is. Not Tories has no legs left.
Attack Reform is their only option. They backed themselves into this corner by being ignorant and incompetent. Kindergarten politics is too hard for them.

I didn't say anything about massive taxes nor most of the things you said. Hardly any of the things you mention are even Labour initiatives. Breakfast clubs were not their idea. The stock market doing well is nothing to do with Labour either. It's probably a sign of distrust in money if you want to take even the slightest look into it.
As for not having an effect. Freezing tax bands, in conjunction with current inflation and interest rates is equivalent to maybe losing a few percent in real earnings year on year. Next year, we will be able to visibly notice the middle income workers suffering. They've essentially had a pay cut.
Also any pay rises are immediately cancelled out, firstly by income tax, secondly by prices.

Yes, jolly well done to Labour.

You don't want to take "my opinion"? Fair enough. Look up the popularity polls yourself.

As for right wing media - are you joking? The BBC even admit the unpopularity and a Guardian fact check about how Starmer is not the most disliked person ever was honestly required. Look at the polls yourself. It's not my opinion. It's the majority's opinion. And a pretty big majority.

The only thing that will save them at all is their manipulation of the voting system
Which is going on without much reporting. Where are the right wing media on that. Election boundaries need to be changed. Of course they do. Funny how it's when Reform would easily sweep the board. In conjunction with dirty tricks against their opponents of course.

Yet we never have to worry too much. They'll go back to turning on each other again soon.

Breaking: Peter Ettedgui - the guy who accused a 12 year old Nigel Farage of being racist to him 50 years ago, just happens to provide work for the BBC!

Is it proven? Where is the evidence? Say so, from a former class pupil? Even you must admit it wouldn’t hold up in court. So if he is such a racist why has he got a German wife and French girlfriend ? Perhaps Nige will go to Europe with Steeley, oh wait.
