Farage says he's 'never directly racially abused anybody' after school racism claims

So because the BBC were racist in 1975 it is alright for Farage to be racist, it doesn't work like that two wrongs will never make a right ,also BBC did not set out to offend like nasty Nigel did.
Was “The Black and White Minstrels” and “It aren’t ain’t hot mum” really racism? In the same way that Farage was as a schoolboy? Those shows didn’t target individuals. They reflected a culture and poked fun at stereotypes. Farage was personally hurtful. I would describe them as programmes of their time, which wouldn’t be made today because our time has moved on.

The real question that Farage is saddled with, because hasn’t faced it, is has he moved on?

Justin Trudeau blacked up - arrested? Prosecuted?
Now going out with a left wing activist in Katy Perry, who was once with Russel Brand.
So if Katy can forgive Justin, we can forgive Farage his actions in his teenage years and move on.

Can we forgive Zach Polanski for believing immigrants are only good for wiping his arse?

Or it all fine and dandy, because he 'Didn't really mean it'?

On Netflix at the moment are two classic movies, "i'm alright Jack" and "Two way Stretch" both with Peter Sellers, and because they say "Blacks" they are certificated as 18+, madness

By contrast, the movie 'Mary Queen of Scots' with Saoirse Ronan, has a 16th Century Scottish Nobility that is peppered with very many black people.

so, following your statement, does that mean you can anonymously insert them in your movie , but you are discouraged from mentioning them ?

how do you know he targeted individuals/ >Were you there? How do you know he was "personally hurtful' were you there? or is just your hatred of Farage that made you post this ****?

Mad because there is nothing wrong with the word, else BLM will need re-naming.

As I predicted the Daily Mail has now done a trawl of Starmer's time at school. It's not worth repeating as surprise surprise he did some stupid things.

I have no sympathy he opened this door and from now on any leading politician can thank him next time their personally embarrassing moments at school get dragged up.

You reap what you sow.

Somehow I doubt whether too many will face these type of embarrassments.

Is that blackleg as it is a satire on trade unionism (Fred Kite)
No, the exact phrase is " we don't want the blacks taking our jobs" 1959, only what was considered normal language at the time.

The first ever talking film was, The Jazz Singer, with Al Jolson blacking up, 1927

For better or worse?

This whole business is reaching farcical proportions. Whatever Farage said at school to his classmates in the 70s is probably nothing compared with the banter that took place in my school in the 60s. Hitler, Goebbels the Nazis were all there for mocking and fun.

Trying to accuse Farage of racism for something he may have said at school 50 or so years ago is lamentable nonsense.

Yes but it’s a typical smear campaign, a tactic that other political parties or left leaning media will try to use because Reform have such a lead in the polls. They will try anything to discredit Farage in an attempt to cost them votes.

Poll leads during a parliamentary sitting mean less than nowt it is a discontent thing ,on approaching the ballot box voters stay with the tried and trusted.

Don't worry too much. You're right - we'll see at the election. I presume you won't mind Labour amalgamating with what's left of the Tories to form the opposition. Presumably under Mahmood.
Dirty tricks and suspending elections isn't fooling anyone. Farage has protection, just like Starmer does, but from different people. He will have fully expected this attack. Everybody did.
Nobody's fooled by It. Except those that are already fools.

I didn’t place any value or validity on the polls, just stating a fact, that has been well publicised over the last 6 months.

Whether Farage said such things 40 years ago or not…bottom line is it’s a smear campaign.

That would make sense a circling of the wagons to stop the infiltrator, might not be necessary for a variety of reasons. Farage i thought lacked establishment backing.
