Was “The Black and White Minstrels” and “It aren’t ain’t hot mum” really racism? In the same way that Farage was as a schoolboy? Those shows didn’t target individuals. They reflected a culture and poked fun at stereotypes. Farage was personally hurtful. I would describe them as programmes of their time, which wouldn’t be made today because our time has moved on.So because the BBC were racist in 1975 it is alright for Farage to be racist, it doesn't work like that two wrongs will never make a right ,also BBC did not set out to offend like nasty Nigel did.
The real question that Farage is saddled with, because hasn’t faced it, is has he moved on?
