FA Cup Final Display

I know it’s considered dangerous, but I’ve got to admit it does add something and can look quite impressive. My only beef with it all is that they manage to get these things into the ground, yet they take the cap off my drink for health and safety reasons. Absolute farce!!
Yeah, what is that all about, I keep a spare cap in my pocket to thwart their stupidity

nope. i literally can't see how anyone would think an image of a child clutching a palace shirt with a look of happiness could be seen as anybody signalling any virtue other than 'isn't supporting Palace great'
So you don't think it was a bit obscure?
Great, it's all about opinions.

Are you planning to smash the tifo to pieces with them, or just run around the pitch waving them about to create a diversion?

Asking for a friend.......
My missus assured me that it's fine. Not sure how she knows.
Reminds me of why extra small condoms never really took off.
It also reminded of a failed fan display that did, in fact, resemble something else. I have a feeling it was the HF but can't find any images. Probably for the best.

Ah - yes that display was the HF - t was against Liverpool - Crystanbull, I was there......

so if it was an image of some long forgoteen palace player from the 60s would you consider that virtue signalling? what virtue would it be signalling?
How is that a good comparison?

You could have a group of former Palace heroes but they won bugger all in terms of major trophies, so maybe not so much for an FA Cup Final.

It’s a great comparison. If using something obscure is virtue signaling then you would find an image of Nick Carle also to be virtue signaling.
That would be obscure, but that is not the point. I have drawn my own conclusions as to why that image was chosen.

You don't think it was virtue signalling? Good for you.

That took longer than I thought it would.

If fans are going to contribute thousands to a display, then it should be something representative of the club. You know, like an eagle or the Crystal Palace. The usual kind of stuff.

Some kid who got a shirt several years back seems a little obscure for a day at Wembley in my opinion.
Absolutely spot on! Like that huge picture they lowered from the roof of the Holmesdale at the start of the season. We thought it would be an eagle or perhaps Wilf, but it was somebody noone had heard of outside of the HF.
