Well that's obviously the main focus of giving him minutes to try and get him back into the swing of things. But after so long out it'll obviously take a bit of time, it'll be a positive boost for him though if he can and hopefully be the start of his palace career.

I wouldn't mind starting someone other than Mateta. The only one outside of Sarr I can think of is maybe Plange? Maybe someone like him on the bench. I've probably forgotten someone.

I thought he had come back. But I see now he's gone out on loan again. So now I wonder. Who would be another striker other than Mateta and maybe Sarr? Surely there's a youngster.
Hilariously enough I'd even start Édouard but he's not here either. I want us to take this seriously but don't see the point in starting Mateta, Eze, Munoz, Mitchell or even Sarr really. I'd also maybe rest Lacroix or Guehi and use Clyne. Slightly less pressure on our midfield now with Wharton coming back, Devenny, Esse - and even Kamada against this type of opposition.
However, we've seen it before - we need the big guns on the bench just in case.

I think he’s locked in a cellar somewhere in Leicestershire, just incase Van Nistelroy is tempted to play him 🤣
