I think the lowly league position means a cautious approach.👍I dont think OG would go quite this far. But hopefully he does rest a fair few.

Even if Kamada performs well, there will always be the thought that it was against a Division One team not in the promotion places.I would give Kamada a much needed rest… probably for rest of the season 🤣😂
All jokes aside this must be a chance for him to show something.
Given Henderson is ill, Hughes is out and JP, Lacroix, Mitchell and Kporha only trained today, I'd guess something like
Turner
Chalobah Richards Guehi
Munoz Doucoure Devenny Clyne
Sarr Eze
Nketiah
With the very real possibility that Kamada plays over Sarr or Eze
Hopefully Riad gets some minutes and we can make sure neither Lerma, Doucoure or Munoz play 90 mins
Really hope that Munoz, Sarr, and Eze dont start
surely this is a game for Kamada and Schlupp
While it wouldn’t be a massive shock it would still be a minor shock and a major disappointment. Schlupp is an experienced Premier League player. Kamada, while he hasn’t done well for us, has played in the top flight in Germany and Italy. Nketiah is supposed to be a Premier League quality forward. Between them they really should have enough for a League 1 defence.Problem is

It wouldn't be a massive shock if that team lost. The full backs don't get forward so you're totally dependent on Kamada and Schlupp to create everything.
Given the illness in camp, we may be better off starting strong and then having the luxury of bringing players off earlier. Extra time would be a disaster.

We’ve got such a fragile squad I really wouldn’t care if we don’t have a cup run. We can use the cup weekends to rest players. Liverpool City or Arsenal will win it anyway. Negative I know but realistic given where we are with injuries squad depth and league position. If we had Munoz and Mitchell stretching the width and Wharton offering a long range threat from behind, those three might get the space and service to get through Stockport.
If neither Mitchell or Kporha are available and people want to rest Munoz then unless Glasmer changes the system (which would be a big surprise) I don't see who provides a wide threat. Ward and Clyne don't have the engine or the final ball.
Therefore, if I were Stockport, I'd happily play a narrow 5 at the back, eliminate the space, recognise that Schlupp, Nketiah and Kamada are all entirely unsuitable to create a chance from a headed knock down because they're all short and back ourselves to keep Palace out.
Assuming JP and Mitchell are out, I don't see where our threat comes from unless 2 of Munoz, Eze and Sarr play?

It must be very dispiriting to make the bench and never get a chance , and it happens frequently.Well we won't have Agbinone on the bench anymore, just gone to Gillingham on loan for rest of season.
Welcome, hope you have an enjoyable day out and we all see a good game.Hi all,
Stockport fan here.
I would say having read your predicted lineups against the challenge you'll face with us - we've lost to injury just before New Year our best Centre back, our captain and best Central midfielder, and our top scorer from last season.
As well as the much publicised ending of Louie Barry's loan, we're currently a threadbare squad so I wouldn't worry too much.
Let's hope for a good game between us and it will be another ground to ticket for a few of us.
Hope the weather's OK in the county of Stockport. I do believe your most famous celebrity fan was Mike Yarwood, and have just checked and your nickname is the hatters, like Luton County. Good to see you back in the football league, could see you were going places when you beat Bolton 5-3 on the box in the cup a couple of years back. Thanks for the info but we mustn't underestimate you, Posh played some good stuff at Everon last night and even without your better players I'm sure you'll make us work very hard to get a result and will carry a serious threat.Hi all,
