Eze to spurs?

Despite needing the funds to strengthen elsewhere Parish has proved again and again that he will not do business unless its in Palace best interest. We are said to value Eze at £70m. I'd agree with that. If City want £35m for a completely unproven inexperienced Mactee the seems about right.
There has been so much media click bait rubbish written about Ebs this summer. One of the biggest being that 'he has agreed personal terms with Arsenal/Spurs. Firstly Eze wouldn't do that out of respect for Palace. Secondly its an illegal approach to discuss a contract with a player that is already contracted to another club. On this point I actually agreed with Marinakis when he slapped Spurs down over MGW.
I'm not saying he wont leave. All players leave eventually. But I'm comfortable with it. Parish will get good money and I feel sure he'll have players lined up to immediately move on.
I would be disappointed if he went to Spurs. In my opinion he is so much better than that but as someone else pointed out, once he leaves he will no longer be our concern. We'll all quickly start focussing on our own contracted player and start to forget him. Eze is not the be all and end all. We have Mateta, Wharton, Munoz, Sarr, Lacroix. Even Kamada is starting to show what he can do. Life goes on as it did when Ian Wright left, Chris Armstrong left, Andy Johnson left, etc, etc.

But right at this moment I dont really see anything but wishful thinking on Spurs side and quiet professionalism from Palaces. Which means I doubt a deal is imminent. Might happen, might not.
It's just more fuel for pant wetting.

The facts are he was there and looking miserable and apart from the group is undeniable. It was backed up with pictures. The rest is observation and speculation.
Would he be miserable about getting a big money move to a club playing in the Champions League? The visual 'evidence' you're talking about could be open to multiple interpretations, most of which involve putting two and two together and coming up with five.

As I said in my previous post, the pictures are undeniable the rest is speculation and supposition.

Just putting to one side for a moment the issue about whether Eze will leave Palace for another club, I do not understand the misgivings and concern expressed here about Spurs.

OK, they haven't lived up to their potential in recent years, but now Thomas Frank is there I reckon they will look a different team this season. Frank is an excellent coach who I would have loved at Palace before Ollie came along and he has the ability and charisma to take them up a few notches.

As I have written on here in the past, some of this 'other club hostility' leaves me cold.

Whether true or false, I do enjoy just how much our fans melt down over a rumour. Given how much clickbait sh*te gets pedalled on line these days we ought to not get too ruffled til something more substantial materialises.

Along with nappies which appear to be sold (or should that be soiled) out.

Eze and Guehi are both starting!!!!!

Looks like that fraud Romano got it wrong AGAIN!!!!!!
This is another important point worth making. This Romano fella a year ago had an outstanding reputaion for reliable transfer information. This summer in particular he has trashed his own reputation by spouting as much if not more gossip and hearsay as all the other hacks.
I've now reached a point where I feel he is no more reliable than anyone else. Probably being chucked a few quid to talk up Eze's chances of moving by Eze's agent who will have a nice fat fee coming his way if Eze actually moves.

100% correct. I used to have a lot of trust in him, probably above any other journalist. But now he's just another noise.
