Eze to spurs?

I'd be interested to see if he's at Spurs today, if he is & the camera's will pick him out, that says to me, he's gone.

Players come and go. It's us that stays. He won us the FA cup and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I'd rather him go with our blessings rather than do a wilf and sulk for a season or two after not getting his move and then resent us.

I met a man last weekend when I was going to the CS and he said he was a manager at the hotel in Marylebone where Palace stay. He said Eze arrived 4 hours after all the other players and wasn't joining in with anything. I was sceptical until he showed me selfies with him and Ebbs and other photos. He said Ebbs did not look happy. Make of that what you will.

I wrote after the community shield about the difference between Ollie’s reaction to Eze and Sarr after the game. Ollie and him just give each other a tap but Ollie and Sarr are all smiles and really embrace.

I thought it was also telling that JP was (thankfully) back on penalty duty.

To be honest, if he leaves I couldn't give a flying f*** where he goes. All I care about is that we get a good fee and use it to replace him.

He is on his day unplayable but has had plenty of hot and cold patches plus injuries. If we use the money to buy Harvey Elliot and have 20m left over to invest elsewhere, I'm fine with it.

Doing it on the eve of the new season is extremely annoying though and shades of Zaha.

I read this morning that Romano is pretty sure Eze is going to Spuds. (and Ebs has expressed a desire to do so).

I hope we stand firm on our valuation.

I think selling Ebs is right for the club, we can definitely improve the squad as a result - but I just wish it wasn’t Spurs.

Another thing I noticed is that wasn't it Eze and Guehi who wore glasses after the match. As though they were saying something about looking to the future perhaps?

I have no problem with him going to a quality team and getting the money that goes with it, but SPURS, to me its a downward move, there fans will give Frank about 15 games, if they are not in the top 4 they will be calling for his sacking.

More money, magnificent stadium, Champions league. How is that a downward move? We have to sell a player at close to their peak value sooner or later so that we can both get the money in and show that we do not prevent players leaving before their contract expires.

Sell Eze for 60-70m and buy Semenyo, could we get him for £30m? Local lad, younger, knows the prem and would be fantastic in our style under Glasner. I’d be sad to see Eze go but with the right approach we could come out of it better

Semenyo has recently signed a new 5 year contract and they’d be bigger clubs than us after him if he did go.

Bournemouth are currently selling Ouattara, who can't get in their side, to Brentford for £42m....

Spurs will have a good season with Thomas Frank. He is a good coach. I’d have been happy with him at palace one day. I do not expect them to dominate the champions league but they will finish top 8 in the prem

I’d be a bit more disappointed if he goes to Spurs than Arsenal but as much for him as anything as he deserves better.

For us I just hope we get good money and are able to reinvest it well. He leaves a Palace legend
