Regurgitated bollocks. He’d be stupid to go to spuds. Soulless club, show him the fans when they won the europa league. They were a rent a mob plastic embarrassment.
What we do know is that Thomas Frank is the new manager of Spurs, and that from previous comments he has a high regard for Eze.
We can’t say for sure, but it’s possibly safe to assume that he was assured of transfer funds being available before taking the job.
They are in the Champions League and have one of the biggest stadiums in the league.
It’s also widely reported that Eze has a release clause in his contract.
So there’s a number of questions.
Does Frank in reality want to make Eze the club’s flagship summer signing?
Would the notoriously cagey Levy meet the terms of the release clause in full?
Does Eze even want to go to Spurs?
I see a few big hurdles before this happens.
