I don't know how much Liverpool and Brighton are interested but the fact that he plays in a position we clearly need to strengthen, that he's a Senegalese international and that he is more natural as a wing back than Mitchell means we can say with a fair degree of confidence that we are genuinely interested, regardless of all the clickbait, heresay and fake speculation. It just looks like Slavia are doing a bit of brinkmanship and holding out till the last minute for as much as they can get and we want a fair price and not getting stitched up with costly add ons and release clauses, plus there's the player's wages to be factored in, and whatever his agent is trying to stir up. Slavia have asked for 20mil Euros not £ which is £17mil, we've offered £12.5 mil. The clickbait re the weed offering £15 is more likely where Slavia are willing to come down to. Parrish does not want to p*ss off Glasner, he's the type of man he's been after for years, esp post Allardyce. All things considered including location, game time, Glasner's comments about bringing TWO players in and Mitchell's contract status, I reckon he'll be ours by early next week.

I think that it's common knowledge now that Mitchell is under contract til summer 2027.
 
I love the way millions are banded around as if it is nothing. ‘Kamada only cost us £11m, Franca £20m, Nketiah £20m’ and yet given the choice we wouldn’t be playing any of these. What an absolute ridiculous world we live in.

It's all gone too far when a player, particularly a striker, doesn't work out and you hear, " you can't expect much for £10,000,000".

It’s just an echo chamber for 4 or 5 people on one side of the fence and 2 or 3 on the other side, both sides slagging each other off. It’s largely a waste of computer memory.

I would just delete all of it and try and get this back to a football site.
