Dean Henderson

LOL, They have more chance of getting in a time machine and signing Speroni... We could even chuck in Wardy.

I wouldn't even take this seriously... Do Glasner and co think we are total mugs and he can take whoever he wants. Munoz is one thing but.... LOL...

I must remember to be polite in my posts.
Glasner is a pos hes trying to gut us as a f*** you

No he’s correct to call them ‘Notts’ as it will p1ss them off!!
As a counter bid we should offer 3/6d for Glasner to clean the gents in the Holmesdale on match days so we can piss all over him! I am totally fed up watching the smug b****** thinking that he is taking the piss out of us. I really hope a counter bid comes in for Muñoz and if he’s going he goes somewhere else. Parish should not be making us look weak by discussing anything with the Greek ‘Anti-Adonis’ IMO. FoF - Fxxk off Forest!

You have got to think that Steve Parish has invited all this attention with a continual selling of our better players. What other club would sell their 2 best centre backs in Guehi and Lacquoix in literally a blink of an eye and then not expect other clubs to come in and try and poach our remaining better players?

Look what happened to Southampton, sold player after player and can barely hold their own in the Championship now! We cannot carry on like this and still remain in the Premiership. Knock it on the head Steve and tell the likes of Forest no one is for sale in the remainder of this window……

At the end of last season it was reported that Palace were desirous of entering into talks with Henderson on a new contract.

I'm not sure if that's got anywhere.

Does he have 2 years left on the existing contract?
If that is the case, and a new contract remains unsigned, then I'm sure Parish would consider a hefty offer.

It's the way of football nowadays.

We all get that players need to be sold, but not all at the same time. We have done more than enough selling of quality players over the past 18 months!

I don't think we can complain about selling our best players. Of course in an ideal world we'd keep them all but there's a footballing food chain and we're not at the top of it.

You say what other club would sell there best 2CBs 6 months apart... Well Bournemouth did that with 4 of their back 5 last summer. In terms of replacements Truffert who they had bought in 6 months before was there biggest success but others were fairly average. They actually got quite lucky that their previous back ups stepped up e.g Senesi and Hill (who was close to departing also). They then sold another star in January, Semenyo and the replacement did very well Rayan. They've faced a lot of rumours with Scott leaving and if he does they're already have Toth (bought in January) who they're quite confident about. I'd say the main difference seems they're a bit more proactive when in comes to getting potential replacements in early.

A good mate supports them so it's quite interesting getting a bit more detail about them. But this year will be a massive test for them as they have a new manager, relatively small squad and as we found out last year, the rigours of European football. They're an interesting benchmark for us too as they've played the same two opposition as us this season. Despite getting close to winning both they've actually only got 1pt more than us, although with a much better goal difference.
