Cup Final Ticket Phases

I don't know when they started ,but loyalty points didn't exist when I started buying a season ticket.
But tomorrow when I'm allowed to buy a ticket, after having season ticket for most of my life, will have no advantage over someone who bought a gold membership at the start of the season.
I agree its not fair. I think the phasing is a bit off for this, however I assume (and hope) that the club have done their maths meaning that everyone in phase two will get a ticket. I think there should have been two more phases added in as ST holders should get priority over all Gold Members IMO.

The club surely cannot have a scenario where a Gold Member + gets a ticket and a ST holder doesn't.

I had a a ST from 2000/01 - 14/15 and have been a gold member since. Would be nice if some kind of loyalty points could be added for historic ST's before points came into play. If we end up getting into the Europa League, there will be a right scramble for away games.

There's no perfect system. The trouble with people like me is that when I go to away games, I have to use other peoples loyalty points to qualify meaning they just get even more points and I get none. it doesn't help me for when the big games come around. Hopefully the stadium extension goes ahead which will give more people opportunity to gain points.

I can't book mine.
I've had a season ticket for 40+ years, but because I have only 8,495 so called loyalty points, I'm not deemed loyal enough.
The phasing system is a cock-eyed, badly thought out ,sick joke.
You will be able to get a ticket tomorrow no problem. Its very unlucky for you to be 5 points shy of for 8,500 points needed to get a ticket for today.
The club has responded to some objections for the phasing of ticket sales for the semi including probably listening to the views from the FAB.

hello everyone. I am a ST holder from 2018 and 2019. Been to a few games here and there since. Would love to watch this game live. Can any member help me to get the ticket? I sadly don't have an active membership.

Long time Aussie place fan here flying over from Kyiv 🇺🇦 , also looking for a ticket for the Fa cup final and will give a risky handjob in the toilet for a ticket 🤔🤣 PM me! Thanks

Ross

How do you get one
Don't know as I'm phase 2 tomorrow, but my guess is that you tick an additional box if you want it.

All info is on the cpfc website here: Tickets now on sale for FA Cup Final v Manchester City - News - Crystal Palace F.C.

Please note that Wembley are unable to reprint tickets for memorabilia purposes. However, during the checkout process, you will have the option to add a memorabilia ticket for each ticket in your basket for £5.95.

This will feature a unique design to remember your visit to Wembley for the Cup Final, and will include your name and seat information on the back of the ticket. This is not a real ticket, and will be sent after the game. Please note: when ordering, this can only be ordered for the maximum number of tickets in your basket.

The constant moaning of season ticket holders who want to feel special above gold members is a total joke. We've turned into a group of squabbling toddlers, do you honestly think we have more than 30,000 season ticket holders and gold members? There is absolutely no way any of them will miss out unless they leave it late.

Grow up a bit and wait your turn to get on the ticket portal, the silly thing would crash if everyone was allowed on it at once.

It's not about them being able to buy a ticket, but about the best tickets being gone by then while they are the ones who support the club every home game (and some also every away game).

It's only logical that you would say that the season-ticket holders get to get tickets first and the rest follow after. (And no, I am not a season ticket holder)

For me it's just about being there, I'll sit on the roof for all I care. People need to grow up, buying a season ticket doesn't make you more loyal than anyone else. I went to half the games when Roy was in charge, plenty of members would have gone to more than me.

I think they have a right to (I'm a Gold Member, btw). They pay more money and attend more games. It's not fair that a ST holder for 30 years who has just under 8,500 points is in same phase as part time Joe who bought a gold membership at the start of the season so he could buy a ticket for the match against Man City and Liverpool.

I agree that all ST holders will get a ticket, but there will be a squabble over the best seats in the house - which on merit should be offered up to the more dedicated fans first. That's the whole point of having a loyalty system in the first place.

It could have been organised in a fairer way by adding more phases. This type of scenario always causes anxiety as some are desperate for a ticket. A bit of common sense from the club would have helped.

if you end up with a ticket in the back few rows of the upper tier you might as well be on the roof
I think it’s just a case of people who’ve had a season ticket for donkeys years feel aggrieved that people who don’t usually want to know for an average league game when we’re playing shite can get a gold membership and be lumped in the same phase for the big games when suddenly everyone comes out of the woodwork and wants to go

If you were a Gold Member and attended the same amount of home games as a season ticket holder the Gold member would pay far more for attending all those games (plus they would have to pay for the membership as well).

The fairest way would have been points based only.

Basically if you have a gold membership or even a normal membership and you get to the odd few games every season you would be able to get a ticket for Wembley.

I don't see the issue here. Only really the ones who cheaped out of a membership (even after we were told of the cut offs date for the semi) and rely on friends or family giving them tickets would have a problem.

Correct ✔️.
