Crystal Palace vs. Sunderland match thread

That is why Glasner will never manage at a top club, no plan B, great for Palace for we will only play 6/8 games at home to the lesser teams, and we will struggle in the Conference league, and against Millwall, but we will take more points off the top 6/7 than anyone

Not a surprising result without Sarr and Wharton. Pino not quite firing yet but solid at the back as ever.

Positives. Uche looks quality.

1) Should have won it, their keeper kept them in it
2) Defensively we were sound again, but were blunt up front for much of the game lacking pace and craft
3 ) JPM struggled (unsurprisingly) without Sarr and Eze either side of him and without Wharton pulling the strings.
He was often isolated
4) An encouraging debut from Pina, full of endeavour and nice touches.
5) We missed Sarr running in behind

Absolute s*** show down at Selhurst Station!

They knew Norwood Junction was closed but insufficient measures at Selhurst and everything has ground to a halt!

OK, we got a point and are still unbeaten, but a pretty dreary affair. Couldn't understand some of the ref's decisions (or lack of them).

I thought our two new boys showed promise. Easy to criticise a few miss passes, but give them a break. Their first chance to mix it with their team mates in anger after all.

Shows how much we need Wharton and Sarr to stay fit. Missed them today.
