All I can surmise is that this side currently can only play effectively with effort for one half, usually the first half. Reasons? Too many games for size of squad, lack of rotation by manager, no plan B, certain players not up to scratch. It's unlikely to improve in the short term because the same conditions apply.

I mean he could have easily played the likes of Deveney, Uche, Nketiah, Hughes, Esse. No they aren’t the same quality as our best 11 but right now playing the same players all the time is just killing us. We are playing worse each week and aren’t getting the results in either competition. If we are going to be sub par at least give players a rest

So you believe that every game its a good thing you want to keep playing your top players because that is the only way to win.

None of the other successful managers even at top clubs have ever done this it's not realistic.

You need to prioritize way too many games.

Because our form is poor at the moment. While we are clear of relegation for the foreseeable it would only take a couple of defeats for us to be looking over our shoulder. If we lose to Fulham and Man City then the Leeds game becomes huge. I’d think we are at the stage where OG needs to decide where the priorities are. We can’t keep flogging the first 11 in Europe as it is damaging our league results

We visibly wilted in the second half.
Without making excuses I'm sure this is partly attributable to the Thursday/Sunday schedule.
We've lost 3 games directly after the European fixtures which is not a coincidence.

Mateta was spent on 60 mins, we had no threat down the right with Sarr's injury and the fact that Munoz didn't get forward.
Pino carried little threat down the left and Wharton was hit and miss.

The last two games have shown what we all know.
We can continue to tread water (and maybe slightly dip) or we can properly strenghten in January and give it a go.

One of the competitions will have to be sacrificed ,Caraboa or Conference .We cannot compete in all of them .We only have one half in us at the moment and are missing lots of easy chances .

Yes I watch the games. I recognise Nketiah, Esse and Uche aren’t as good as fully fit JPM, Sarr etc. You are responding to an argument I’m not making. My argument is I know they aren’t as good but our best players need a rest. Would that mean a lower quality of team in the Conference Legaue? Almost certainly (though it’s not like we’ve performed well as it is). Would it give us a better chance to perform well in the Legaue? Yes.

Right now all we are achieving is subpar performances in both competitions. We need to prioritise

Managers do not sign players at Palace.

Nketiah we wanted back in PV days but refused to pay 15m Arsenal wanted for him at the time.

The only signings that the manager may have pushed for would have been Kamada and LaCroix both again when DF was still at the club by the way.
