Crystal Palace vs. Ipswich match thread

3 points gratefully accepted but today's game showed that we've got no physical presence or ability to hold up the ball without JP. And was Kamada wearing camo green because I couldn't find him on the pitch.

Well….I guess a win is a win!

Not going to criticise the team. We know who played well and those who didn’t.

No football for a few weeks now - so hopefully the Marbella camp will be productive

We won 1-0 and that’s pretty much what there is to say. Missed Hughes and JPM and though Nketiah tried hard it showed what an odd buy he was. His game isn’t suited to our system. Still onwards and upwards for us and down and out for Ipswich

In some ways it shows how we’ve progressed. Early on in the season we’d probably have lost that. Today we were able to grind out a win.

Just need JP and Hughes back and we'll fire on. Up to 11th, Brentford have Villa now but tbh could do with a draw there and take the drop in places. Brentford utterly robbed us this season, how has Thomas Frank not been tempted away from that midget club?

Poor performance it's not like Ipswich came to park the bus. They played attacking football and there was plenty of space to get at them. Both teams had their chances.

That said this is the type of game we normally drop points so a win is a win and fair play to the lads for keep going. Great goal by Sarr.

OG needs to work on this in training but hopefully JP will be back soon.

I see our next game is April 3 a huge break, we always seen to lose form after one of these, OG has his work cut out.

It causes actual pain but this season we won't catch em
Those f***ing c**** only managed to f***ing score at the death.

It's the ultimate season of luck for them. I f***ing hate them

A f***ing penalty as well, you can just imagine how ridiculous a call it's going to be from those diving wankers. How many have they been given this season now? about 7? We've had 1 and it was stonewall, plus a fair few shouts denied 😡

OG reckons he could/should be back for Fulham.

We have to finish above those shitbags, yet it seems that everything has fallen their way pretty much all season.

Apparently the penalty was awarded over 20 seconds past the extra time amount, pgmol on a love in with the c****.

To be fair, given the choice of finishing above Man Utd and Spurs or Brighton, I’d rather the former all day long.

Brightons luck will run out soon enough.

OG has mentioned the need to be patient in games, just keep doing the good stuff as per game instructions and then it will come good. No game is easy, all have to be strongly contested, today we kept going and this is a sign of a well drilled team.

A poor game which Ipswich had slightly the better of.
Henderson made a handful of very good saves while we struggled to create much with sloppy passing and failure to build moves.
We sorely missed Hughes control of the midfield and JPM's presence down the middle.
I thought it had 0-0 written all over it so was delighted by Sarr's well taken goal to win it for us.
