A Roy team would not have rolled over like the Glasner team did tonight .

I’ve tried to be measured with Glasner in recognition of his achievements last season.
I was even prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt during the bad run, believing we’d be fine when players returned.
However, it’s now evident to me that things are not right.
We haven’t played well for a couple of months and in truth didn’t really play well v a poor Brighton team even in winning.
Tonight was chaotic and not for one minute did I think the substitutions would work or that we would turn the game around.
It was poor management.
Another goal conceded from a set piece which we do nearly every game , and wide open to counter attacks which could easily have led to more Burnley goals.
We were static, our crossing was poor and there was little in the way of fluid pass and move.
It’s not just down to Glasner; our transfer policy has been poor .
We’ve ended up with 4 players - Sarr, Johnson, Guessand and Pino who all look more naturally right sided players and nobody who looks comfortable on the left.
The loss of Guehi has left our defence lacking organisation,covering pace and calmness.
I think the management has lost it’s way.

It's an inescapable conclusion to make given the empirical evidence.

It a collective shambles from top to bottom, so we can either rearrange the deckchairs on the Titanic and pray the lot below us are equally shambolic , or make the only substantive change available, i.e. the manager. That is the choice facing Parish, let's see which option he takes ....

I cannot find a full replay at present, but I had a suspicion the referee was caught out by having his back to play at the moment the Burnley player MAY have handled at the lead up to Burnley's second goal. You cannot give what you didn't see. Perhaps unfortunate for the ref and perhaps Palace too?

...... Whoops, no sorry, I'm wrong. He IS facing play at the time of the incident, albeit it is the left arm of the player, furthest from the ref's position.

I know they have totally lost there way. Very concerning. Selhurst was 1/3 empty five minutes from the end.

What worries me is that bouncebackability has gone with us. Under Glasner before you would back us to turn things round when going behind. It just seems deflated now.

Aslong as we stay up which we will, alongside playing in Europe, I think its a successful season, if we had this many points after this many games under hodgson, people would be asking for him to be knighted.

Maybe statistically rikz we are ok, but emotionally it's been a roller coaster watching the wheels come off our manager as we plunge downwards towards danger zone. Any manager talking publicly about his players the way Glasner did tonight is not doing his job right.

And why does every other team seem more incisive than us? Three or four passes and they're looking to create a chance whereas we fiddle and fart about with pointless short passes before either over hitting a cross or losing possession. We might not have anyone who can hit the target from 18 yards but FFS it's a learnable skill; or you'd think so for professional footballers.

This is the main thing I bitch about every game. They make no attempt to move into any space further up the pitch and start an attack from midfield, unless its Wharton getting the ball and just clipping it into the box. When they do get it they pass and stand still, never any passing and moving. I've taken more notice of other teams to see if they do the same and haven't seen one yet this season. Its why all our passing is either backwards or constantly down the wings and I'd say its why we cant break teams down who sit back against us because there's just absolutely no passing and moving.
