Crystal Palace vs Brentford match thread

Surely Glasner got to talk to Eze and demand more…. So many good openings and he fluffs them, maybe even drop him as these s*** performances are happening too often.
 
We weren’t great today but the ref didn’t help, some strange decisions and over officious.

Eze offered little other than slowing down passages of play.

Come on you cheese rolls!!!
 
Bad performance. Glasner has turned a corner of late but still just that little bit more he needs to do in terms of setting us up better in attack. I understand how the encroachment rule works with penalties, but still just sucks to give them another chance to score. Mental error on that one.

Eze needs a long look in the mirror, but Esse scoring was special to see and I think he will only get better the more he is out there.

As I put earlier in the thread, s*** happens. Let's just move on.

Oh, and Mbeumo is now on my top ten most hated players list. What a dickbag.
 
God that was infuriating to watch. One of our worst performances of the season. Absolutely nothing in attack until we were two down. Defence were dodgy all game. Brentford didn’t even have to be any good to beat us.

OG needs to see we do not have the players to play possession football building from the back. What we do have is quick, powerful forwards but we never seem to play it in behind the channels. The very few times we do we look dangerous.

Nice to see Esse get a debut goal. May it be the fiat of many. Other subs ineffective. Not given much time to be fair but Nketiah just runs around like a headless chicken.
 
This was diabolically bad. The ball spent at least 50 per cent in the air. Wouldn't be so bad if we can learn to cushion headers. The lack of essential ball skills was apparent. Mateta was nullified completely.

The sooner Wharton gets fit the better I'll like it.
