First game I’ve missed this year, I’m in Tenerife and a restaurant with no football so been following it on here.

All in all I’ve decided none of you should be tv commentators, although some could possibly have appeared on the Fast Show.

Our game was so unlikely to bring a goal, our BBC reporter started watching the Everton vs Wolves game

Showed fighting spirit there. Everyone put a shift in. Wharton excellent. Guehi and Lacroix also good as was Mitchell. Canvot did well all things considered. Some errors but to be expected from a young player and some excellent composed defending.

Attacking wise Johnson did pretty well I thought. Has definitely injected some pace and directness. Good runs in behind.

Well it wasn’t pretty but the way I felt going into that game it feels like a win.

Hard graft from the boys. Fingers crossed that by our next league game we have Munoz, Richards and possibly Sarr back. Hopefully this will be a bit of a springboard to push on for a 19 game unbeaten run… now wouldn’t that be nice.

We are really going to miss Guehi, but you all know that.

Also very good from Lacroix, Mitchell, Wharton and Hughes.
It would have been a travesty if Villa had nicked it.

In an earlier post I said we have to stop the rot, and with a 0-0 Roy would be proud of we did that. As Big Sam would say - respect the point. It wasn't pretty, and both Pino and Mateta need to be dropped when others become available. Nevertheless a valuable point, they all count.
