When you look into the peer reviewed reality you find a lot of criticism over the modern day situation. Lots of claims approved in peer review has turned out to be bunk and like I said, it's not 'peer review'...it is more peer review by who.

That said, I don't have an issue with your general point is speaking up for cracks in evolution for the idea of intelligent design as such. All that matters is the truth rather than dogma of any type. I just haven't seen anything convincing myself.....that doesn't mean to say that it isn't out there or indeed could be in one of your links. But I don't have issues with poking at any theory....that's healthy, but as we poke, we must also be ok with being poked back.

If there is anything true within the claims made we would hope that it would bubble to the surface by virtue of the rather hopeful wish that the truth wins in the end.

As for religion in the playing squad and/or staff, it doesn't bother me personally. I'm not anti the Christian religion and I respect some of its teachings and cultural influence. The holes to argue against it are hardly new to anyone.

I'm probably more bothered by nihilism personally....which while probably more true, is far more destructive to societies.

Well I agree that being 'peer-reviewed' does not end the debate.
It can't do because plenty of peer-reviewed scientific papers contradict each other.

I was simply saying that being peer-reviewed earns it a place at the grown-ups table for respect and discussion.

You mean the other examples were too complicated for you?

Would you like your examples crayon-drawn?
Come on man. This is pathetic.

Just provide some examples of your evidence. You should be busting a gut to do so.

You are just using an age old tactic of the clueless.

I've seen it all before.

Any explanation of the evolutionary process has to be supported with data. Tangible evidence. It cannot be abstract.

Not all theories are equal.

So you can respect belief because... footballers?

But you can't respect atheism?

Not very objective is it.

I respect atheists.
I respect most beliefs. I am just on the fence as to what I believe myself.
I respect our club and our team.

I just don't respect rudeness, arrogance and closed-mindedness.

Provide evidence for your assertions, or stop wasting my time.

I'm only rude to those who are rude to me.

Being open minded is not an excuse for irrationality.

Do you also have an open mind about the Loch Ness Monster or Leprechauns?

Why bring Graham Norton into this?

Good interview with joel ward. Around the 42 min mark he talks about his faith and growing up with bible college and faith in football.
