Have they been shoving their faith down peoples throats?
I think they’ve all been quite dignified about their beliefs and only responded when been questioned haven’t they?
Arguing with religious people never goes well as they don't want to embrace opposite opinions.
Any attempt to bring science and logic into the equation are dismissed and if all else fails just say "god moves in mysterious ways" as the conversation closer.
BUT to answer your question: the players have been publicly parading their faith with their goal celebrations.
Joel Ward was in the dressing room making a rather lovely speech and he suddenly drops in a bible verse. He wasn't responding to a question.
Eze drops his religious beliefs into a lot of conversations without being asked.
The fact this thread started is because it's become very obvious that a lot of players are openly religious so they aren't just speaking about it when asked, they are actively promoting it.
As fellow believers you guys think it's lovely.
As a non believer I find it over the top.
I would hope, as peaceful religious people, you would be happy for me to plod along in life with an opposing view but it's coming across that you chaps aren't particularly tolerant.
Maybe the thread should be closed? Politics and Religion threads never end well.
I'm just ecstatic the team won the FA Cup having been at Wembley for all 3 finals, having suffered the Mullery years and being part of a crowd of 4,000 at home in a league match.
I love palace, I love football. That's enough for me.
I find Religion illogical and I don't understand why some of the players need to bring it up. I'd be the same if a player kept saying he was an atheist. It doesn't need to be said either way.
