Can't help falling in love

Surely "When I'm Cleaning Windows" by the evergreen boy George Formby was a fan favourite in the forties. Accompanied by a kid with a ukulele on a grass bank. That kid grew up to be Terry Venables.
Later the song was changed to be derogatory to West Ham. So let's go back to that. Real history.

Although I love Glad All Over and hope it retains its position of prominence, I also love Can't Help Falling in Love. If the Powers That Be insist on ramming it down our throats, perhaps we could compromise and sing GAO prior to, and spontaneously during, matches, and CHFIL at the end...

The best version of CHFIL ever recorded was created by three American teenagers in a college dorm room in 2017. The guy on the guitar, Josh Turner, has acquired a massive following online. The women who comprised the duo Amber Taylor are (left) Taylor Neita and (right) Amber Ordaz. They're no longer a duo. While Taylor may still be pursuing music, Amber is a pharmacist (chemist) in the Midwest. 'Tis a shame, as her voice is one of my favorites in the entire world of music, Sissel Kyrkjebø's being the other. The club should fly Amber, or all three of them, to Selhurst Park if they're serious about promoting the song.

Isn't this a Scouse song - I've been meaning to ask for ages? And if it's UB40 what is our Birmingham connection? I'm with Penge on this frankly. It's fun, but I don't remember anything to do with us.
Although I must say I'm not even sure we were first with Glad All Over. (Apologies but I know Blackpool play it).
Really, should we not have something by the Eagles and create a new, old tradition?
"Welcome to the Holmesdale and the Arthur"?
