Bournemouth vs. Crystal Palace match thread

If the Sunday Morning rumour mill is correct again (Talksport) and Jorgen Stand "No-goals-sen" hasn't settled in the smoke (or his fiancee hasnt if the rumours are correct) then we should seriously consider the mooted £30m Fat Frank is lining up to offer us over the summer to bring them both back to the midlands. Cut our losses and run I say, and try again elsewhere as he clearly is not worth £50m and never was, nor never will. Wolves had our pants down.

Obvs can see why Coventry would want a deal done before the WC though because if as expected Norway, and in particular Haaland and Sorloth, shine, then his price increases.

Frank, if you have the cheque book out, give us another £5m on top son and you can have Johnson too! Tottenham didnt have pants down, they stripped us naked over that deal.

God help us next year if those two are leading the line.

Didn't he score on Thursday?

f***ing awful half of football. Justin Devenny is not, will never be and never has been Premier League quality. Versatility is only useful if you're like James Milner and putting 7/10 in every position, not 4/10s.

Johnson is utterly abject. I can only hope that he is one who benefits from the new manager's system because, as it stands, he is perhaps our worst ever purchase.

The rest of the team look as though they are on the beach, which is insane because we're not mathematically safe and could still finish well into the top 10.

This is appalling and I hope he makes multiple subs at half time.

What a terrible performance so far. Our so called no 10’s haven’t helped the team at all as well as Larsen. Passing bad and marking. Kamada hasn’t worked alongside Lerma with our midfield over run. Wharton has to come on for Kamada now otherwise it will get worse. Formation, balance and willing to fight all wrong at the moment. Could be six by end of ninety minutes at this rate?

I blame the manager 🤣
I know you jest but clearly he has failed to set them up tactically or mentally for this. Not for the first time either. Then makes no changes when we are being humiliated. If Thursday’s counter attacking win was the best of Glasner this is the worst and something we’ve seen far to often this season

They'll be fine in the championship

The problem is that Glasner has made way too many changes to the starting 11 here. There's absolutely no coherence between the players, Riad- Devenney, Kamada-Lerma with Pino-Johnson. They don't even speak the same language ffs

Some bloke on here said he was a one trick pony and a tactical black hole, disgusting.

It looked as though they had not met before, let alone played together. Passing atrocious. I didn’t expect us to win but I thought we would see some of the fringe players wanting to make a point. Everyone looked nervous and hurried though.

Will he bother to make changes and risk injuries or accept we are likely to lose so not bother?

Devenny has been so bad but then so has Riad. Positionally awful. Difficult to know who is responsible for the other being so terrible or if it is some sort of defensive black hole merger of crap defending

Definitely not good, but how fortunate have Bournemouth been with both goals. Unfortunate for Lerma with the first and absolute rubbish decision for the penalty. You'd be excused for thinking Senesi had broken his leg after running into Henderson who was kneeling on the ground.
The pen decision was a joke .And it was a dive .
But you make your own luck , Bournemouth deserve the lead .
The stats don't lie

On the CPFC Website, it shows JSL scoring 6 goals for Palace since his move. Apart from a couple of goals against a shlte relegated Burnley back in early February, 3 months ago....I really cannot recall him scoring 4 other goals for us. I might be ageing but surely this has to be incorrect.

Wait....it also shows Johnson scoring 2 goals which definitely IS NOT correct !! So I am guessing the CPFC website editor is trying to make them look better than what they actually are ;-)
