Bournemouth vs. Crystal Palace match thread

It looked as though they had not met before, let alone played together. Passing atrocious. I didn’t expect us to win but I thought we would see some of the fringe players wanting to make a point. Everyone looked nervous and hurried though.

Will he bother to make changes and risk injuries or accept we are likely to lose so not bother?
That’s answered!

Let's all remember, this is not only a Sunday game after an away European game on the Thursday, but also a dead rubber between the two legs of our first, and possibly only ever, European semifinals.
There are no dead rubbers in the EPL, prize money is linked to league position and we need every penny we can get, as for European excuse, the club knew it was going to be tough in the summer transfer window and failed to strengthen with the quality required to be able to play in both competitions. They then splashed the cash in January and chose badly. Thank goodness we should survive this season but also lets be honest if we do not play the transfer market well this summer then the prospects for next season do not fill me with any confidence about our prospects going forward.

is it my imagination ? or are all goalkeepers now running miles up the pitch ? far from their goal to approach the halfway line ?
is it just a new thing, this season ? Strasbourg keeper was playing as a defender

How can we be so bad at free kicks. Doesn’t matter who takes them we are just at a level a park team wouldn’t accept
