Bleedin larnaca...Match Thread

Terrible game last night whilst I hate Larnaca for their antics I can't blame them. We are the bigger team so it was down to us to demolish them. Over 3 games we didn't really do that.

I think a PL side that played fast direct football would have scored a bundle of goals. Pino had the right idea drive at them and it showed, we played much better when he came on.

Up next is Fiorentina, I am pessimistic I can't see us getting many chances against Italian defending and they will be clever enough to get the job done. Still I am often wrong about these things.

They probably don't view accessing Palace matches as a perk. You're stuck with it for the rest of your contract I'm afraid.

During the game, there was an advert / notification that soon TNT Sports is being moved to HBO, so for sure that scuppers that little freebie, hopefully I get the see some of the QF games before it happens.

Alright Steve. The weather has sorted itself out.
One night left.
Any decent steak restaurants/strip clubs in larnaca ?
Sorey mate no idea I live in Paphos and only visit Larnaca to go to airport.
What I would say is a find cypriot taverna and try the local food ie kleftiko, shiftalia or souvlia. All very tasty meat dishes. The chicken kebabs here are goid as well.
Hope the rain hasn't spoiled your trip

Quarter Finals, so whilst not wishing to disrespect our previous opponents, the mickey mouse phase is over, proper historic clubs in the last eight, and a home game against a club with the stature of Fiorentina is a real European night. Pino is so much better in Europe, those cute through balls inside their full back, but we make so many individual errors and the amount of times through balls are over hit, under hit or misplaced does my head in. That disjointedness is a symptom of a lack of unity from a manager who doesn't really want to be here imho, but a bit of Euro glory should hopefully be enough motivation for everyone.

I find it quite remarkable of Glasner to get a squad including 13 internationals, 3 of them wingers, to continue to struggle against massively inferior opposition, fair play to him, not many managers could achieve that.

It's getting quite boring now mate...

We're in the QF of Europe in our first outing and playing "proper" sides now.

Something to finally get excited about for the rest of the season

I found the extra time last night both exciting and entertaining. In fact I can’t remember a Palace game like it. Absolutely bonkers. Maybe UEFA will draft in the ref from the AfCON final for the next round the keep the fans guessing WTF is going on.
