Ben Chilwell

If he stays fit he's a massive upgrade in that position. Mitchell could potentially even slot into the left side of the back three.

However, I just really hope we haven't signed someone who will barely play.

Maybe Chelsea’s plan is to have Chilwell and Chalobah fit into our squads over the season then offer them in a swap for Guehi 🤔

He has played in 1 game this season, back in September when he came on as a substitute against Barrow in the League Cup.
On loan only....Not happy with that, shows no interest, or desire to do well for Palace..Why would he play his heart out for us, when he knows it is only for a couple on months,,
His club have a habit of giving us dead wood, or a player they have no intention of selling..we know that from only a few weeks ago...Move on Palace, find another club..

I'm not sure what Manchester United have to do with our wage structure. If anything, and maybe you are suggesting such, that they are a prime example of how not to go about things. I was given the impression by the Steve Parish interview that we run a tight ship, and so it should be, disharmony in the ranks isn't conducive to good performance on the pitch.
I was just pointing out that other teams also have issues with lesser players earning more than better ones. United were just a prime example. Shouldn't be difficult to understand
