I think Popovic might be the right call.

He was behind the Jedinak transfer and he has had success as a manager.

I think he's a gem that's been overlooked because he's down under.
 
SP might dig out someone from abroad we've never heard of, Lucien Favre was interviewed b4 or after Vieira, good pedigree but 68 now, or an up and coming Brit like McKenna who looks set at Ipswich ... I wouldn't mind giving Lampard a go, he's doing great things at Coventry, he wasn't ready for the Chelsea job, and it went wrong at Everton, but it's all a learning curve and he might be ready now, my only fear is that I think he may be better at moulding a team with youngsters in than taking over an experienced established side, I know some will have doubts, but he he could pleasantly surprise like Vieira did in his first season with us.

Why are we talking about Glasner leaving? We just won our first FA Cup. We are in Europe, and have the best squad of players ever.

He clearly has a lot of influence at Palace. He is valued.

A lot of clubs would have sacked him for his remarks to the press.

cos World Class talent likes to leave us.....Olise, Zaha, Eze...... And Glasner will be on the target list of many Champions League type clubs. i mean, duh.

Of course i want Glasner to stay. Its cos he is a winner. If we lost twenty games i would be baying for his blood. Obviously.

Who after Glasner ? any manager with a CV of much past success. No Patrick Vieira type question marks, no Croydon Roy, and absolutely never Alan Pardew or i will burn my season ticket and go and support the Millwall women's team.

Exactly! We've now got a group of players who are constantly being told they can win the next game by a manager who prepares them in what he feels is the best way to achieve that win. The focus is always on what we can do to win the game rather than on what we must do to scrape a draw or limit the damage.

In the past, if we went behind, we fans had little confidence in our team getting back in the game. Now, we believe we can not only get back into the game but can win it. We went behind twice to the PL Champions in the Community Shield and came back twice. We did the same at the Emirates last season.

Any new manager has to have the same kind of positivity otherwise the players will soon start losing their self-confidence.

We may have to accept that coaches of Glasner’s ability don’t come along every day and that whoever we appoint next will be a “backward step” to some extent. Glasner’s ability to analyse the opposition tactically and prepare the team to counter their tactics is outstanding. That coupled with his ability to get the best out of individuals makes him stand out. But to quote Monty Python “He’s not the Messiah”Hopefully the club goes for a younger more forward thinking coach than Dyche.
 
Sir Gareth Southgate, massively risk averse and a friend of the club. Will come in and steady the club in hopefully no worse than 16th place.
We will be the lowest scorers in the prem and big names will move on for big money so he can bring in youth players. After a couple of seasons we will search for another coach who can save us from impending relegation.This is my bad dream

Glasner i think is wise enough to know he cannot play the counter attacking football with a top side, the fans wont except it, it only works when the opposing team is attacking you, same team vs Vila and the Norwegian side, one attacks, one defends, we go from woeful to world beaters in three days, Palace is the perfect club for him, tolerant fans, low expectations, mostly playing against teams that attack, that is why we probably will struggle against Sunderland, unless we get an early goal, and Glasner wont change his tactics for any club, he will change too the club that matches his tactics.
