At some stage OG will leave . Who next

Sir Gareth Southgate, massively risk averse and a friend of the club. Will come in and steady the club in hopefully no worse than 16th place.
We will be the lowest scorers in the prem and big names will move on for big money so he can bring in youth players. After a couple of seasons we will search for another coach who can save us from impending relegation. This is my bad dream
I was about to suggest Southgate

Hopefully Glasner stays but if he moves on we need someone who plays the same way. Gerhard Struber uses the same formation so could do well but we will need like for like imo

the feud & spats & fights would start within the first hour. We would get a civil war between the cleaning staff and the burger bar assistants. The boardroom would look like a brawl at a boxing weigh-in. Grown men in suits battering each other.

And you can watch our squad score a goal and then spend 80 minutes time-wasting ?

no thanks. There is still a smell of Chelsea off that eye-poking fecker.

Failing that either Southgate, Mourinho, Pardew, Allardyce, Dyche, Nagelsman or Hodgson.

Perhaps even a combination of Southgate / Roy & Dyche, to mix youth with experience alongside the tactician.

I really think we ought to give the Lombardo and Brolin combo another go. I believe Attilio is available after a spell at Sampdoria and Brolin must be out of the vacuum cleaner game by now.

Also is Padovano out of jail for drug crimes yet? We should get the old gang back together and involve him in some capacity. Not as club doctor, obviously, but maybe trying to get Nketiah scoring.

didn't he play Auric Goldfinger in the Bond film? We might get Oddjob as his assistant. 😕
This was Gert Fröbe, best Bond villain by a mile. Shame that he was entirely synchronized in the English version because of his accent, but his dialouges in the German version of Goldfinger were fantastic.

Big Ange wouldn’t be the end of the world if he continued to have the club legend Mile Jedinak as his assistant.
I reckon Ange would have a point to prove- but is he strong enough defensively? Mmmm.

Lampard is doing a decent job at Coventry - playing some good stuff?

Definitely not Southgate though- I reckon the passing the ball around for pointless possessions sake would just about finish me off!

Whatever happens Ollie is going to be very difficult to replace. 😩

Padovano was cleared in the end.

cancel that then, we could go for Donald Pleasance, though we'd have to keep his cat away from our pet eagle.

Yeah that’s the concern.

Whoever replaces Glasner (and I hope this will be a good few years from now) I'd like it to be someone that carries on his good work. Going back to a firefighter or a safe pair of hands is a backward step. We have proved that with the right strategy on and off the pitch we can be successful playing on the front foot and attacking rather than counter attacking yawn football where we see about 30% of the ball each game and do little with it.
I cant name a specific manager. Would be stupid to try. Football is a fast moving industry. Today's brightest young upcoming manager is tomorrows failure (Andre Villas Boas anyone?) but it needs to be someone with the same team ethic, work ethic and basic playing principles.

Why throw everything Glasner has built in the bin when you have a chance to build on it?
