At some stage OG will leave . Who next

Russell Martin born in an unmentionable part of the South Coast might fit the bill, a very talented player for Norwich, learning his craft as a manager.Kieran Mc Kenna A londoner by birth,A youth coach at various clubs, seems to have a good contact list ,very good an interviews and honest with his appraisals.

As Martin is in danger of being run out of Glasgow on a rail at the point of a broken Buckfast bottle he might be more than available.

Glasner is unique in many ways.
Highly organised, operates at maximum efficiency with most of the players improving under him, a good man manager and psychologist, but at the same with with the ruthless streak to weed out those who won't commit to his methods and vision.
He's not a one hit wonder, as demonstrated by his success at other clubs.

I don't think he's a one trick pony either.

At the end of his first season when he had Olise, Eze, JPM and Wharton firing on all cylinders we were dominating teams and scoring for fun while pinning them in their own halves.

We should make the most of him, as he won't be easy to replace whenever he departs.

I’ve been thinking about this on and off throughout the day and have been trying to think of a manager who would stick around for a while - I actually mean not get us playing great stuff and then disappear to the first “big club “ that come calling.

I haven’t really come up with any stand out candidates- but I’m starting to think maybe someone who has had his time at a “big club” and been given the boot, so knows the grass isn’t always greener and therefore might be more likely to stay loyal to Palace.

Think I’ll keep my fingers crossed that Frank makes a horlicks of things at the Spuds and gets the bullet before the season ends! 😂

Not sure about Popovich...I like him. But also just watched his Australia side be outplayed by New Zealand and escape with a lucky 1-0 win. I'd imagine he's a decent coach at A-league level...but PL is a different kettle of fish. Let's just hope we can do well enough and show enough ambition to keep OG at the helm long term.

Ange Postecoglu had success in the A-League.
