Bethell is definitely the future.
One of the biggest indications of rare talent is having that little extra bit of time than most other batsman and combine that with calm shot selection and you have a rare bird.
A big century and the next highest score is 42.
We are highly likely to lose this last test......It's now time to analyse who has done enough to continue as test players. I think we have seen a lot of test careers end here.....Well, we should have.
The players I think are worth sticking with are:
Duckett (deserves the summer to reset himself)
Bethell (Obvs)
Root
Brook
Tongue
Atkinson (close to being fifty fifty to me but I just think he's solid and should have played the third test)
Fifty fifty for me.
Smith (but not as a wicketkeeper)
Stokes (because I have significant doubts as to his fitness)
Carse (I predicted he would take the most wickets and he did except not bowling well. I like his mentality and fitness)
Archer (But only down to fitness, if he's fit he plays)
