Might not have been their strongest team but Saka, Odegaard and Saliba came on. They are world class.

And I don’t think like that, but I recognise you have to have the rub of the green, which we didn’t.

I’m not exactly a cheerful chap, but Christ you could win the lottery and would complain it’s not a round amount. It must be like living with Eeyore for your wife.

What shitty logic, but I'd expect nothing else from the powers that be, I guess.
You'd have thought as 2 prem teams were playing, they would utilise it!
 
Of course nobody likes a defeat but that was as good a one as we have had for some time . Game was always going to be a tough one ,Arsenal are as good a side as any around at the moment and in cup ties you have to try and win as opposed to league games when playing for a point against the top sides is a better tactic .
VAR helped them with the important second goal , it helped them because the lino had obviously forgot that he had to put his flag up in this one , the rest of the game played out as many cup games do with the team behind forgetting the defending in the hope of getting back in the game .

We gave the arsenal b team a good game. Couldn’t quite match their a team. Great to see nketiah score fine goal. Still in the FA Cup 🥳. And looking up the table. With Wharton and DOucoure n Jan signings to come. Could and has been a lot worse 🤓

Why would i care about winning lottery when i have already earnt more wealth in my life time then the jackpot pays out.

So they subbed on world class players we play in the same league.

Nothing to do with rub of the green otherwise again why bother turning up against teams like this if that was the case.

We just got a draw against the champions man city and same with chelsea must have been rub of the green for those games
 
Having had a cup of tea and hobnob…

I thought we were 2nd class citizens in the 2nd half. They are one of the best teams around and it showed when the A team came on.

From our perspective, Munoz was a huge loss. His energy was missed but more importantly he has started bringing the best out of Sarr.

Hopefully this will remind the powers that be that they need to get the cheque book out in Jan to give OG the tools required.

We lost to an offside goal.

Arsenal had to bring on their best players to beat us.


Nketiah scored, that was a real positive.
Glasner made substitutions that virtually guaranteed we would lose, but Saturday is more important.

That first statement is a bit of prat thing to say. Anybody with wealth doesn’t need to tell anybody as those with it could care less and those without and struggling just feel a bit worse. What do you get from saying something like that I wonder?

We were well organised, competitive and did pretty well tactically. We lacked a bit of creativity. He’s probably our most gifted player but Eze was poor again tonight. No comparison between him and Oedegard. When he’s not playing well with the ball he’s a luxury given he’s not great defensively. If he wasn’t capable of a moment of genius I suspect he might be dropped at the weekend.
