Ahamada & Rak-Sakyi

Florian Marange. It was when we were first promoted. He was a fullback and new purchase. I saw him play for us against Bristol City away in a friendly or early league cup game iirc, I recall agreeing with Holloway when he said he was slow, because he wasn't quick enough for the league for sure. He was very upset at this release.

What a lemon.

I think Glasner was largely disappointed in JRS a year ago. He spoke with him, told him he had a chance to break into the team and stake a claim but would have to work hard on the training ground and be patient. JRS opted instead to drop to the Championship on a season long loan clearly thinking he'd tear it up in that division and then everyone would want him.
He didn't tear it up. Not even a little rip. He had a couple of good games for Sheffield United ans a few where he went missing. This has backfired on him because now not only is Glasner disappointed in JRS's choice last year but he also now knows he has even further to go if he cant even make a big splash in the Championship.
I'm surprised we didn't sell him last week. I'm sure he'll be gone to a lower league club in Either January or the summer.

Spot on. He made his debut for us FOUR years ago now on the opening day of the season. It’s been clear for a long time JRS will eventually be adding to the long list of our promising youngsters plying their trade permanently in the lower leagues
Sean Scannell, Bobby Bowry, Butter Flinders, Sulley KaiKai, Nya Kirby, Jamie Moralee, Tony Sealy, Jamie Vincent, David Whyte and Christian Benteke

The reason behind JRS staying potentially became clearer with the Conference League squad.

You have to name 4 players developed by the club, and JRS is in the squad as the fourth. Personally, I think that could explain why the club kept him.

I just hope we do give him a chance to shine. With the injuries we seem to be picking up, I expect to see him this season at some point.

I agree but I would say I hope he earns, in Glasner’s eyes, his chance to shine.

OG seems to command 100% commitment and discipline, which is part of what has made us so competitive. There is a reason Devenny is above him and Esse in the pecking order.

Both Amahada and Rak-Sakyi are in our 24 man Premier league squad, as well as Craig Farquar, Irish centre back, only 5 teams have picked 25 players.

Yep feels like you need to prove that you can do that part, regardless of whether you are more talented than others.

Esse getting hooked vs Liverpool was a prime example of what Glasner doesn't want. Team is always first
