Marc Guéhi

I would do a straight swap for Harvey Elliot who fits our age profile and has undoubted ability.

Just need to find some dough then to buy a couple of centre half’s (or get one in and one loan) and get someone like Vardy on loan to cover the attack until we find out what is happening with Nketiah.
Elliot+ 20m then I'd listen. Nothing less.

Sick of 'big clubs' over valuing their young stars who they barely play and they're desperate to get rid of.

It's our duty to be smart and focus on the most winnable trophy.

We don't have the squad to give it 100% in three competitions.
Selective reading. I said forget the Carabao and I also said we wont need our first 11 in the Conference league very often until after Christmas.

Stop trying to be all wise. It really doesn't suit especially when you ignore half of what I posted

It's just common sense.

The Premier League is a priority and the Conference is a realistic ambition.

The Carabao is pointless, and it took us 150 years to win the FA Cup.

We wont have a choice. You're deluded if you think Palace have any control over the Marc Guehi situation
He is under contract, so yes, we have control.
What it boils down to is how much money we will accept.

Guehi will be happy either way, I'm sure.

If he's watching Liverpool tonight he might not be so attracted to joining their defence. Semenyo just scored after running through them from deep in his own half.

They'll probably bid for Lacroix rather than Guehi as the centre of their defence clearly lacks pace. A good result for us as Bourenmouth are going to be closer rivals. They are certainly missing the defenders they sold and Petrovic had a poor game

I watched the match and Semenyo and Brooks were excellent and Bournemouth will be kicking themselves to have lost
They will but I thought there was almost an air of inevitability about it in the end. A few clubs watching will be taking notes on how to hurt Liverpool on the break; the problem will be stopping them scoring two or three before the chance arises.

Marc Guehi has always been an absolute professional and a credit to the game not just Palace. Whatever happened happened. Personally I’d love him to sign a new deal but if he won’t and we have a good option to replace him then I hope he goes asap. Clearly we need the money unfortunately.
When he does leave he leaves as the most successful captain in our history

Hey, what about John Sewell! Captained the side that got us into the top division for the first time, and scored a goal against Leeds - thanks to a dreadful blunder by Gary Sprake - that was shown in the introduction to MOTD every week.

Was there at that game. The thing that sticks in my mind is that for a split second - when the goal went in - total disbelief and silence then the crowd erupted. Sewell couldn't believe it either !
