Someone made what I think is a very valid point elsewhere. Forest are on a transfer spending spree at the moment. However the quality of players they are signing is far higher than they could usually hope to attract. Definitely they are benefiting from pull of playing in the europa league. Unfortunately the prospect of playing in the conference is not attractive to players.

I know Forest have sold Elanga and Danilo but they surely must be getting close to their PSR limit.

Eze and Guehi are both clearly available despite the fact that they are both under contract.

Parish has already indicated that he can't contemplate letting Guehi leave on a free.
Hence, if he doesn't sign a new contract (which he shows no sign of doing), then Palace would prefer to sell him.
Parish is understandably holding out for the highest fee possible, and then it becomes a question of whether Guehi wants to move.

We've now had confirmation that Eze's release clause has expired and know that nobody has met it.
What we don't know is if there is some sort of informal understanding with Eze outside the clause e.g if a Champions League club comes in then you can leave, provided suitable terms on the sale can be agreed.

My personal preference would be for us to retain both and see where that takes us.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.
However, I'm speaking as a fan rather than the owner of a multi million business.
