Uefa Conference League

Bring it on.

I’m intrigued how much Glasner will rotate. He didn’t last year, but obviously with fewer games.

Go strong in the home leg of the play-off then see if we can rotate in the 2nd leg?

Not many of our players have played in Europe so I’d guess they’d be keen. The sort of rotation I’d like to see when we can is Lerma, Hughes or Kamada, Esse, Devenny… and the two new signings but they can all be part of a pretty strong side.

As long as the rotation options are still fit for our Carabao Cup run. I want all the trophies.

Whilst it is tempting to stick two digits up at EUFA, I think that may be cutting off our nose to spite our face.

You never know when we might lock horns with EUFA again in the future when such actions could come back to bite us. And I don't think it would serve the club well for supporters to boycott the games.

I'm hugely disappointed, although not surprised, at the outcome, but we have to move on and make the best of it. We are still in Europe and hopefully will make a good fist of it.

ITS f***ing
UEFA

DUMMY.

So, amusing one here…

In preparation for our potential Europa Conference play off second leg away in Fredrikstad on 28/08/25 - Last week , following their 1st Leg result against FC Midtjylland, I booked 3 hotels for the trip; one by the airport, one for Fredrikstad and one for Oslo (post match visit etc). These were all free cancellation up to date before check in etc. so no harm.

I’d already looked at flights to OSL and had some saved ready on my BA account.

So this morning, when the CAS announcement dropped, I quickly went onto my BA app and bought the flights. Boom I thought 💪🏼

It then occurred to me after my first coffee of the morning that they’ve actually still got the second leg to play! 😂😂😂

So think of me this Thursday evening when Fredrikstad come back and win 3-0 as I’ll no doubt be sightseeing round Norway feeling rather stupid when instead Palace are playing Midtjylland in Denmark for their European opener! 🥴🤪😂

Lets hope it's not a Brighton fans booking Wembley hotels in 2012 moment

I can.
Better than the early rounds of the Carabao cup. A first for the club.
Try not to let being chucked out ofEuropa taint an adventure for us.
PS: yes we know your wife thinks you're a curmudgeonly old fart with a face akin to a bulldog chewing a wasp.

I can't wait!!
My dear wife has consistently hurled negatives in my direction but akin to a garden laurel I am comfortable with rough treatment.
We have been denied our rightful place in the Europa League and I cannot embrace our participation in the third-tier of European football.

Personally - it’s a blessing in disguise.

Watch Forest flop in it.. watch them have a s*** season. Good.

Now - for us - we can rotate and blood the squad, youth players too.

Fans get fun away days and we can win this thing.

Let’s be realistic - if we were in Europa we would have had to spend a bit more than normal, risk certain players - don’t get me wrong that’s what it is all about - testing ourselves..

Had we finished 7th swapping our FA cup wins for league wins - we’d happy with this.

It’s obviously a sour taste - how it happened.. but I do believe things happen for a reason.

Norway is stunning tho
Bone-chilling in winter and you do not get much change out of a 'Tenner' when you purchase a beer.
My dear wife once suggested a cruise around the 'Fjords', this was met a word which equated to 'There are two of them and they are roughly spherical'.
I have no intention of paying a visit to Scandinavia.

Go strong in both legs, let's get through the play-offs 1st, then, rotate in the league stage.

I think she said "The Broads", Norfolk, not Norway.

I used to work in oil and gas all over Norway, it's a beautiful country and very well insulated!
