I know, but I can’t see us kicking off at Selhurst at 5PM, although it wouldn’t bother me, I finish work at 2

If indeed we get to the latter stages we would have played several matches and this could have negative implications on performances in the PL.
Both Chelsea and W.Ham played 15 games when they won the competition.
I believe the format has changed and I have no idea how many games the winner will play in this third-tier competition.

The different kick-off times mainly apply to teams that belong to two or more teams from the same country in the competition. This is to avoid overlaps as far as possible. I assume that in our case, the matches will kick off later in the evening at Selhurst Park, as there is no overlap with any other English team. From the league phase onwards, all teams must have floodlights, so the time of day no longer matters for matches.

With the calibre of teams. The likes of Esse and perhaps Rak saki is not sold or on loan will get some more games. I think the tournament suits us better with rotation wise. Whereas the Europa League we would have to play a strong 11 every game.

A few more squad players and perhaps some academy players may help out until the latter stages anyway.

Try not to let being chucked out ofEuropa taint an adventure for us.

In preparation for our potential Europa Conference play off second leg away in Fredrikstad on 28/08/25 - Last week , following their 1st Leg result against FC Midtjylland, I booked 3 hotels for the trip; one by the airport, one for Fredrikstad and one for Oslo (post match visit etc). I’d already looked at flights to OSL and had some saved ready on my BA account.

So this morning, when the CAS announcement dropped, I quickly went onto my BA app and bought the flights. Boom I thought 💪🏼

It then occurred to me after my first coffee of the morning that they’ve actually still got the second leg to play! 😂😂😂

So think of me this Thursday evening when Fredrikstad come back and win 3-0 as I’ll no doubt be sightseeing round Norway feeling rather stupid when instead Palace are playing Midtjylland in Denmark for their European opener! 🥴🤪😂

Me too Mr Barber. I've got flights booked there and back and they're bloomin' expensive as well. Norwegian Air already sold out all day Friday coming back to Gatwick. I'll be selling the Big Issue Friday morning if Fredrickstad do a Lazarus, within days of the real Lazarus passing.

You often see a shyte movie that hires in a big Hollywood actor. Just to give it a lift and some publicity.

As a Prem outfit , maybe the Conference needs us ? much more than we ever needed the Conference ?

If the rest of the competition is a Dutch or Portuguese equivalent of "Havant & waterlooville" then surely they need Palace for some football gravitas ?
