To me he simply looked like a man who had finally got away from a long, complicated, intense meeting expecting to dash off and enjoy some family time with his new grandchild, only to be waylaid by a Sky Sports interviewer asking damn silly questions that he must have known Steve couldn't comment on at that time. He was obviously having to weigh up his answers very carefully and looked like he would have liked to just tell the journalist to p*ss off - instead he gritted his teeth, managed a smile and said for the nth time "we'll see on Monday"

Maybe as a female I see it from a slightly different perspective, or pick up a different vibe, but I would never had said he looked broken.

Well we will just have to disagree. I'll be keeping my hands in my pockets. TBH, with all the injuries and a painfully thin squad, I'll be quite happy if it is Conference with a much easier set of games for the remainder of 2025 (assuming we qualify). Hopefully, Parish will learn from it but it may need Glasner to quit to really strike home

Who knows how long Mr Glasner planned to stay for. He seems ambitious to me and is obviously capable, but plays a style that wouldn’t suit teams who expect to dominate possession. We’ll see. The most important thing now is to either get a Dougie replacement in, or get him back. Again!

We will know better on Sunday after he has had a day to rest, hears the attitude of our legal team and views that interview. If he chooses to give more interviews which are more upbeat and his body language matches it then we have reasons to be cheerful. If he remains downbeat and resigned then probably not.

He is an extremely well-paid Chairman of a club that made a complete cock-up of a simple administrative action and appears to have spent time and money on a wild goose chase that has taken his attention away from signing players, appointing a DOF and placating arguably our most successful manager

Your right. I also felt Steve only gave him time because he is playing it cool with sky sports and reporter to get good coverage in the media on it.

He did seem he just wanted to get away but wanted to give the guy a few mins.

The other issue is one of these youth players (Jake O'Brian) transferred to another Tex club didn't he and was sold on for a big profit this is what the multi club is about.

It's about evidence and actions not just this cut off deadline time & doesn't help when you got SP coming out with silly comments like my son has influence or messing up one minute saying Tex has no vote then yes he has a vote against 3 others.

I could see Palace maybe getting of this time due to some sort of error and it will all be closed for next year but really at the end of the day we are still in Europe not been thrown out so it's not as massive deal and I would rather go add another trophy then get knocked out early in high tier one (It's not Champions League not much difference)

Jake O’Brian was 1 transfer in 5 years, we are no more an MCI than eagle group and forest with 4 or 5 this window.

think you find academy's are counted separate has its there to look after and bring young players into football with a education as well as learning the art of football , so UEFA may not have even looked at that , and your Jake O'Brian theory well we did buy him from a irish club and didnt make a profit on selling him , players do fall inbetween the cracks , and if he showed anything in his time here we would have kept him , we off loaded a kid not a first team player , other clubs could have come in for him but didnt

Blame Textor if you must but from his point of view, when he was trying to sell a shareholding and putting it in a trust would prohibit that, at a time when any qualification for Europe looked unlikely, and that we weren’t part of a MCO ownership anyway, it would not have made sense.

This mess is entirely caused by EUFA rules that are not fit for purpose as they don’t achieve the desired objectives. Objectives which, as a club, we support and would always try to achieve.

I'm still of the opinion that UEFA don't even know if we committed "a crime" and hence they want to pass the buck.

Lyon essentially got in thanks to the French FA as opposed to UEFA. Their place was only ever in doubt because of a demotion from the French FA.

Stinks though. The punishment definitely isn't proportionate as you say because we got jack sh*t in the way of benefit from Textor owning shares in multiple clubs.

I suspect that Steve Parish has an idea as to which way the wind is blowing.

Clubs who were part of the European Club's Association - an association of which we opposed - were given different instructions than clubs who weren't. There was a whole set of different guidelines sent to Forest which we didn't get. Their instructions also seemed to indicate that there was leeway in the deadlines. I believe this is a large part of the case people seem to be forgetting about. A clear favouritism towards clubs in the ECA. Which shows preferential treatment for them, detrimental treatment of us.
