A top lawyer would not want a case that only has a 50/50 chance. They will truly believe we can win. If they dont believe that they will have talked Parish, Johnson, Harris and Blitzer out of an appeal in the first place.Thinking our chances are something less than 50/50 but not totally hopeless.
Yes, owned by Sideshow BlobThat was abit of a surprise , thought forest was just a side show , and now lyon been dragged in , not sure what to think
CAS dont consider any moral grounds, their judgement is purely based on the facts as applied to the rules. As I have mentioned before, I am not sanguine about our chances with CAS and think our only hope will be on 'moral' grounds rather than any technical claims.
We will need the very best lawyers, specialists in 'loophole finding' and I am doubtful if an attack on Forest, if this is implied by the announcement, will bear much fruit. Although it will at least add extra spice to our first home match.
Defeatist and fatalistic I may be but I cling to the faint hope that our moral argument may yet prevail.
Fantastic effort 👍😀Bet this was fun today . . .

Plus the money Textor got from selling his shares in Palace. Research the game that got Lyon into Europa, it was Strasbourg ( owned by Clearlake ie Chelsea) losing at home to relegation threatened Le Havre. The winner was a 98th minute penalty given away by a player who, was subbed on in 86th minute, got 2 yellow cards, he was on loan from….Forest and then joined Strasbourg permanently. At the time of the game, Chelsea may have only qualified for EL.Yes he’s an absolute moron and some of the dodgy deals he seems to have going on should be a concern, looks like (if I’m right) him buying players from the Brazilian club ended up helping Lyon which then helped his Forest team get Europa, insane and sounds so corrupt. I hope you get back in the Europa, if not, I hope you win the conference.
😳 Wissie incomingForest should cover it for slowing the process down. They're like Gina Miller slowing Brexit down.

The amount of transfer dealings between Botafogo, Forest and Lyon is staggering
Just happy the appeal is in and we are fighting for what is right.
My actual interest in us playing in the Europa League has diminished and it's about the injustice of this decision and process. I'm sure that will change if we win the appeal.
But in isolation the Conference League wouldn't be a bad competition for us and if it happens will be some good development game time for Nketiah, Franca, Esse as the front three
That’s easy for you to say 😀we don't want to be appalling to CAS we want to be appealing, which we are, hopefully they find Forest appalling, which will be appealing to Lyon if CAS also find them appalling and not appealing. 😕
Forest are in it up to their necks - they’ve been meddling and conspiring with Textor, Lyon and Botafogo..!!While technically Forest can buy and sell between Botafogo and Lyon or whomever they like, the timing of these dealings in relation to how it helped Lyon win their appeal will arouse suspicion and could well support our case decisively - we need not go over again which areas we will prioritise in our appeal, but the obvious collusion between OL and NF could well 'bear fruit' ... fruits of the forest, sorry!
What kind of masochist are you? 😂I believe we're dragging Lyon into this.
Imagine if UEFA agree that Lyon deserve to be punished too, kick both Lyon and us out and then instal Brighton.
This thread would be something else.
