Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

Our club should have done the paperwork on time.

I think Forest owners moan is more that he did his paperwork on time and at a total cost off around £100k ( £50k twice) once to beat the deadline and once to put it back in his name once Forest had bluffed there lines and bottled the Champions League spot.
So probably fairly he says why spend that money doing the legal stuff on time for a team to not do the paperwork and pay anything and get in.

If was our money spent we wouldn't be happy would we.

I dont know of a easy solution to this as Multi club ownership is getting bigger.
Should the teams involved in the ownership before the season starts agree on which team if any qualify for same comps actually takes the spot.

Everyone on the Palace board needs to held responsible if we get kicked out of Europe.

Wonder if at any board meetings it was discussed and what was said, manager wanted a cup run and believed in the team and rightly so. Why didn't the board believe in the team and look at the what ifs ? And actually take action , on time.

An interesting and different take.

It imposes a strict liability test, which in my view is unreasonable.

In the first place the club disputes Textor had significant influence and has produced evidence to that effect.
Let UEFA disprove this.

In the second place it was not reasonably foreseeable back in March that we would win the FA Cup and Lyon would finish in a qualifying position.

This doesn't mean of course that UEFA won't find a reason to sanction Palace.

You’re a new member so I guess you haven’t taken the trouble to look back over the 100+ pages - can’t say I blame you.

But I don’t for a moment subscribe to your view about the Palace Board being responsible for the reasons you state.

I think the reason we have such a wide spectrum of possible outcomes from posters, is only down to UEFAs ludicrous rules,....and the utter ridiculousness of an utter bodge of an interpretation that's about to be forced on CPFC.

no voting rights no say in the running of the club , that is the issue uefa cant get there heads round , because there rule says influence of the clubs , that being palace he had no voting rights , so what cant you understand

I still don't understand how we would even drop down to the Confernce league as Blitzer owns Brondby who are in it and I believed finished higher in their league than Palace did in the Premier league. I heard Textor also queried this briefly on his Talk sport interview if you listen carefully.

I believe winning the FA Cup ranks higher than 3rd(?) place in Danish league. Also it may be that Blitzer owns less shares than the threshold
