Starmer..what a joke on the world stage

Oh, allegedly. That old chestnut. If you refer to what it cost to get the railways back to running again without to many cancellations and disputes, and giving a decent service, then yes money has been invested in the rail system not a gift, invested. You said they have done nothing. ,it desperately needed it. Just as so many of the the Tory failures, need refinancing, nationally or privately . Prisons, water, the courts, Police, good old NHS, there are plenty more. The reason these all suffer is because for far to long the Tory view was investing in any of these was a waste of money. Often wonder where the proceeds of their stringent economies actually went.
Let’s revisit this when the doctors, rail workers, teachers go on strike again

The railways are now worse after the RMT got their gift of tax payers money, that laBORE gave them. Now, before you ask me to provide you with examples (typical lefty response) how about, YOU, finding out.
You will have to provide your own examples, not an excuse, just nothing reliable yet. Nothing Alleged either because it is to early to assess Labours input as the previous governments financing ran a year from April 2024, Labour did not add to that until early in 2025. The Irony in this is , that in their final year knowing what a state the railways had got into the Tories invested , or if you prefer gave, £12.5 billion to them in 2024. What is known is that up until recently including just before Labour got in things generally were improving. Im not a lefty ,I just can’t support 14 years of ineptitude, and definitely would not invite them back.

Well let’s hope this lot will have the sense to head off strikes before they get out of hand. Not settling in particular with the doctors was a major mistake for the Tories. Still didn’t bust the NHS and played a big part in losing an election.

The tories wanted some changes for the pay rises. The BMA are very anti change !
Same as the railways Spanish practices which are a burden on both performance and VFM. The tories didn’t bow down and take it like labour have and will.

And the country fell apart. And the electorate showed how grateful they were. The problem with not paying the junior doctors properly for years is that BMA would become entrenched. We didn’t need the miners, and effectively got rid. The Tories didn’t seem to realise we will always need doctors.

I think it's just Tory jealousy, they wanted trade deals with the Usa and India but were not up to the job.Our shining knight Keir got them.
For the second time, nothing you can say when you post lies is there.?

No UK USA trade deal has been signed, you obviously missed that unimportant point.

On 8 May 2025, the UK and US announced an agreement in principle on an Economic Prosperity Deal, paving the way for renewed negotiations

Pesky facts eh

A very Thatcherite opinion.

To be fair to Beak, the lie may have been pure ignorance rather than a deliberate lie, but of course in his case the two are not mutually exclusive.

Please identify the deals struck by the Tories in the 8 years they held power post Brexit

Remember their mantra was getting Brexit done.

There was of course that back of a hanky deal struck with the Australians by Johnson that even Truss realised was a catastrophe and which the Ozzies are still laughing at..

Actually there is always the deal they stuck with India one of the great training nations...

Oh no hang on that was Labour too.i
Specific point shown to be untrue launches whataboutery, no surprise

What is ‘paying them properly’
A career choice gets rewarded with a wage suitable to what is produced. Being forever great full because they save lives can be from the heart not the wallet.
Stamp your feet as much as you like and threaten strike this and that. If the dough isn’t there it isn’t there.

So if Sir Keir is a joke on the world stage how come he is getting major trade deals that eluded the last Tory government? They by defenition must have been a bigger joke.

Trade deals take time the ones I assume you are referring to would have started under the Tories. Whether Labour's final deal was that much different from the Tories is anyone's guess.
