Starmer..what a joke on the world stage

I think it's just Tory jealousy, they wanted trade deals with the Usa and India but were not up to the job.Our shining knight Keir got them.
No UK USA trade deal has been signed, you obviously missed that unimportant point.

On 8 May 2025, the UK and US announced an agreement in principle on an Economic Prosperity Deal, paving the way for renewed negotiations

Pesky facts eh

Enjoy two tier Keir, while he precariously remains PM,until the 'shining light 'is removed from power:

Tory twaddle by the gutter press.

Don't worry. When the powers that be have had enough of two tier kier all his private life will hit the front pages and he will. Be gone.

Based on the last 6 PMs the average is about 2 and a half years. I reckon 1 more year of two tier kier. But he seems to be pally with our friend across the pond so could be a little longer.

Who knows we could get someone much much worse and may want TTK back 😯

I tend to agree that when the personal stuff comes out, the writing's on the wall.

Don’t know about that. Times have changed massively . The main hugely biased media, will make sure every thing he touches is handled in a negative way.
There is no great disaster going on for him right now . According to the media, oh yes there is. This won’t stop no matter what. I get a feeling even if he did get us back on the track , he won’t get a slap on the back.

There are not even the faintest signs of any government policy to put the UK "back on track". That's what's most concerning to me. Economic policy, where most governments get judged, seems fudged, reactive and generally unhelpful to business.

I wish someone would tell, not just me but us ,people in general , how you get a country in general decline for fourteen years back on track in one year of a five year term. Nothing has been any great help to business for years , and the biggest fudge of all was Brexit.

There are not any ideas even to improve the situation. Let alone policy. People are surely allowed to ask for a plan to improve things at least. We can't blame previous governments for this government not having coherent or viable plans, ideas or even thoughts.

Sorry to break it to you,a bit like Bambi's mum dying, business is not always right.

Sorry to break it to you - but it's what employs and pays people. Otherwise they're government employees or welfare dependent. That's it in a nutshell. Of course businesses aren't always right - otherwise they'd all be successful. However, it would be perhaps prudent to help business considering they're our main source of income.

So how do you view Distillers company and thalidimide deformities? There is a list as long as your arm where companies have tried for a quick buck and caused major health hazards.

All we are seeing is a new government trying to conjure money . They can’t fully move on until they do. Overall the picture is bleak and that picture doesn’t alter whoever rules. As for blame the list is endless, and of course it matters, they wouldn’t be scratching around for money if it didn’t.

Allegedly They did give 11 billion to the RMT or railways generally. That might have come in handy
